"Darn it. It looks like my phone has no signal in this village. I wanted to call home, but I could not even do that. How do you people request for resources outside the village?"
Edward asked the local people. He wanted to make a report back home, but his phone refused to cooperate.
"What's a phone?"
The local people asked with a confused face.
Edward's first emotion was confusion, followed by amazement and horror. He was not the only person surprised by the lack of a phone in the village.
Only Nadia was not surprised. She already knew that the local people of this village had never seen any advanced technology.
These people did not even have a T.V. or electricity for the most part. How did you expect them to have a phone or any device that relied on it?
