"I need to head back and save Rachael. I cannot afford to waste my time with you anymore."
Rose turned back and would have taken off in Rachael's direction if Nadia had not stopped her from moving.
The sound of rustling trees was getting more robust, and so was the feeling of distress around them. This dungeon needed to be safer to roam around in.
"Hey, be careful with what you do in here. One wrong step and you will be brainwashed into becoming a loyal subject of the goddess as well. Everyone else in the village is in a similar condition."
Nadia informed Rose with a pained voice.
Rose was surprised to hear this because she had not seen any hints of mind-controlling magic in the village. So, she turned toward Nadia to hear more about what she had to say.
"Mind-controlling magic? Was there such dangerous magic being practiced on the villagers? I did not feel anything when I walked through the village."
