His eyes looked over the group and landed on Nadia. Anger exploded inside his heart, and Ben wanted to curse Nadia for abandoning the village.
'Lucia would not have to sacrifice herself if it had not been for your cowardly actions. You were the one who abandoned our village; Lucia had to pay the price.'
Ben was angry about Nadia's betrayal. But he could not do much about Nadia and Lucia's situation now. What had happened could not be reversed by normal means.
