Boundless Spirits Forest
A beast with the head of a tiger, and body of a bear could be seen decapitated on the floor. If one looked closely, they would see the dead bodies of other beasts laying around as a young man stood in the middle, with blood all over his body.
A group of four young men approached the scene and froze on spot. They had heard the disruption of Qi in the surrounding area and immediately rushed here because, this only occurres when there's a battle between two experts.
They had prepared themselves to see a shocking scene, but nothing could have prepared them for what what they saw.
A young man covered in blood, could be seen surrounded by dead corps of several beast. What was shocking was that the blood on the young man's body was not his, but from those beast around him.
What was even more shocking was that all this beast were Ranked Beast. A beast would only be ranked if they have the strength of a cultivator in the Sky Lord Realm.
Only Sky Lords could defeat ranked beast, and to their knowledge that was no easy task because, a rank beast was usually stronger than the other races and were immune to a lot of Qi attacks, only pure raw strength could match them. A single person killing more than one was a ludicrous notion to them, but here they were glancing at someone who had single handedly dealt with more than two dozen.
As the men were busy shaking in fear, Zhang Han went ahead to crush the skulls of the beasts he had massacred with his fist with just raw strength, and began to remove a shining looking pearl which was in their skull.
These pearls were the core of the ranked beast, this was why Ranked beast were sort after by strong cultivators.
This pearls were in high demand making it a very precious treasure.
Zhang Han was pleased with himself, he was grinning like an idiot as he collected the pearls.
He couldn't help but wonder how life would've been, if he had this kind of power in his previous life.
He checked his system and saw that he had accumulated some points, "I'm going to try and break into the Fourth Stages of the sky lords realm tonight" He giggled to himself.
If the people of this world found out his means of cultivation, they'd die of jealousy. He was the true definition of the saying, 'cultivating as simple as eating and drinking'
What was even more pissing was that, his was much easier than eating and drinking.
After collecting the pearls, Zhang Han turned to the men about to shit in their pants, "We are too deep into the boundless spirits forest, you shouldn't be here" The moment he finished his sentence he disappeared.

A loud roar echoed through out the forest shaking the hills and mountains.
Whatever that was, it seemed pissed.
The four young men took out teleportation talisman and crushed it, immediately disappearering from the scene.
They reappeared in the middle of Hanshu City, there was a teleportation portal there. From the look of things this young men were not ordinary.
They all looked pale, two elders overseeing the portal immediately rushed to the youngsters.
They were curious to find the reason for the need to use search a precious talisman, "What happened?"
"Monster! Monster! We saw a monster!" The elders couldn't help but tut.
This young men were truly cry babies, what was so terrifying about seeing a beast, it might have probably been a Ranked beast.
"You younglings are truly a disgrace to your clans, I can't believe a mere ranked beast scared you into activating your teleportation talisman's" One of the elder said in disdain.
When the youngsters saw this, they immediately explained, "No elders, it wasn't just a ranked beast,
We saw a human slay more than two dozen Ranked beast. On the corpse of the ranked beast, there was only a single sword slash and all the slashes were aimed at their weaknesses" The youngsters explained.
The elders widened their eyes upon hearing this, this youngsters were truly shameless, where in the world did slaying a ranked beast become so simple.
Look at the bullcrap they were cooking to hide their shame.
"But elders"
Say no more! The elders immediately stopped them from continuing their say. "You boys should go to your various clans and tell them those load of crap,
We are too busy to humor you" They said coldly as they turned to leave, just then..
The ground started shaking.
The two elders looked at each other to see the surprise on both their faces.
In the distance ahead a row of black armored dragon horses galloped through the streets.
On top of those galloping armored dragon horses, were soldiers clad in dark black armour, along with dark capes and silver mask and a black helmet.
The appearance of this men sent chills down the spines of all the onlookers, what scared them the most was was the purple banners with the insignia of a Qilin.
All the onlookers immediately bowed after recognizing the banner.
The two elders guarding the teleportation were no exception to this.
To the Purple Qilin Cavalry, this nobles were no different than a normal commoner's family, if convicted their noble houses would all perish with no power to resist, this was how powerful the nobles viewed the Purple Qilin Cavalry.
There was a saying in the immortal empire that went that, "In front of the Purple Qilin Cavalry, there were no nobles and kings, just regular people who could die at any point in time"
The leader of the troops pulled the reigns of his dragon horse and stopped in front of the two elders ,who at this point were sweating buckets.
The leader of the party showed them a jade seal and immediately ordered in a deep voice.
"From now on, no one should be allowed to leave this city using the teleportation ring, not even the city lord,
And also lock down the city, No one leaves until told to do so!" The commander said in a cold voice.
"Yes my lord!" The two elders replied shivering. If they were following customs, they should've inspected the seal, but who would dare to impersonate the Purple Qilin Cavalry, even retards knew better than that, so they skipped that part.
Two men in dark cloaks appeared before the group of soldiers and said in a husky voice. "The demonic pill master is at a inn in the eastern part of the city along with his daughter" they said while pointing east.
The commander of the soldiers simply nodded and galloped off with his men.
The two elders were surprised and shocked to hear this, the infamous demonic pill master was actually here all along.
They held their chest to feel their heartbeat, the reputation of the demonic pill master was no joke.
Three Hours Later.
Zhang Han appeared infront of Hanshu City gates after using the invincibility of his cloak to escape.
He was going to exchange some of the demonic pearls for some gold coins and take the innocent looking Zhu Hui around Hanshu City.
He had promised to buy her something nice when he earned some money, now seems like the time to fulfill that promise.
"In this past few weeks, I've been spending all my time in the Boundless Spirits Forest looking for ranked beast and collecting points, I wonder how Zhu Hui is doing" Zhang Han said with a smile.
When he got to the city gates, he could see that security was tighter than usual. No one was allowed to leave the city but only enter.
Zhang Han entered the city and heard people gossiping about the appearance of the Purple Qilin Cavalry.
"Oh no! How did they find me?" Zhang Han immediately rushed towards the inn he was lodged in at the fastest speed he could master.
He didn't even bother to hide himself anymore, as he zoomed off. His only prayer was for the father and daughter pair to be safe.
When he arrived at the inn, a crowd of people had surrounded the place, he pushed them aside to see what was going on.
Right before his eyes, he saw four Spiritual Experts in black armor surrounding Zhi Yu.
Zhi Yu was covered in blood, his clothes tattered and a missing arm, behind him was his scared daughter crying behind him, as he protected her.
When Zhang Han saw this, he tried to approach, but the moment he stepped out, it was too late.
The four Spiritual Experts who had surrounded Zhi Yu, immediately sprang forward together like ferocious tigers pouncing on their prey.
Zhang Han couldn't figure out whether it was because of their formation or a special skill, but that move seem to have isolated the qi around Zhi Yu, confining and restricting his movements.
All he could do, was raise his hand to form a barrier made of the little Qi he could find to block the oncoming attacks of the spears as they approached him with piercing sounds, he shielded his daughters with his body.
When the spears appeared infront of his body, they glitched and dodged his barrier directly piercing his left shoulder, skull, and also piercing through his raised remaining arm which immediately exploded into pieces.
He used his body to block the last spear heading for his daughter, the spear drilled through his heart as it continued forward,
All the onlookers thought that this was going to go through his daughter too, but just then a young man appeared in front of Zhi Hui and blocked the spear with his sword changing the trajectory.
Dark matter began to emit out of the sword and began to surround his body.
"Who are you?" The commander asked warily.
