Chapter 20 - Food plan: Aroma allure.

Passing by the stupid wraith hounds, I walked gallivantly as I knew I couldn't be seen.

I felt kinda smug as of that moment.

It is just like walking in front of your opponent and your oppenent can't see you.

That kinda smugness that would arise was what arose within me.

As...

I made my way to the food room, passing by the narrow corridor leading to the food room. I hummed a song along the way to relieve myself of my boredom. Ha, fitness. If I break, na my business. But am I shayo for the light of? And my fist for the night, oo.

I continued humming a song, as usual, one I had formed by myself to relieve my boredom. While humming the song, I made sure to keep my voice very low, as I didn't want a situation where I would be saying, "Had I known, I wouldn't have done it." I shook my head as I continued walking along the long but narrow corridor. The corridor was quite attractive, with various pillars of various sizes and lengths standing tall, anchored to the ground. The various varieties of pillars gave rise to an astonishing and attractive scene. I walked past the corridor, making sure my footsteps didn't step on any forbidden or dangerous areas.

I safely walked past the corridor, without encountering any laser beam attacks, and arrived in front of an ash-colored gate that served as a guide to my food room. Seeing this scene, I nodded my head, and a smile curled up on my lips. Mr. Aven has been recognized. No sight of Max or others in sight. The food room's security has been lifted. The food room has been opened.

One might wonder why he did all this just to stop Max from entering his food room. Max was quite the thief; he would steal anytime, anywhere, especially when you least expected it. Others had even more dangerous equipment stored, just waiting for Max to breach it open. But even with all this, Max was still able to enter the food room of some of the other young talents. When it comes to theft, I dare to say that if he claims he's number 2, then no one else would dare proclaim being number one.

As the door opened for me to enter the food room, I couldn't help but recollect a time when we were all tired and asked Max why he liked to steal our stuff when he had the money to buy them. He finally answered us, "Because it's fun. Because it's fun to see the kind of face everyone makes when they find out they've lost something important." Can you believe that? He said he liked to steal because it was fun. When we heard that, we all felt like smacking him, especially me, as I wasted no time in doing just that, along with Sylvester and two other boys among the young talents. We pummeled him greatly. After some time, we thought he had changed for the better, and even we felt a great pity for him. His mouth hung so high that I couldn't help but burst into laughter, accompanied by Sylvester, while the girls looked on with pity on their faces as they prepared to take care of him. But one thing I couldn't believe was that even after all this, Max still stole, and he stole right at that moment when we were beating him up.

It was only when I reached home that I realized, checking my pocket for my World News VIP Card, that it was nowhere to be found. That was when I remembered the side-eye he had given us before being carried away by the girls. "Maaaaax!" My voice resounded across the skies as my anger reached its climax. And ever since then, my VIP card has been gone. I had tried to look for him, but we all knew Max. Unless he wanted you to find out where he was, you couldn't, no matter how hard you tried, except for the mysterious World News.

That had been the last day I had seen Max, and that should have happened about three years ago when I was 13. But I knew one thing for sure: the day I meet him again, he would surely get it. He made me lose a quarter of my wealth. If I had my VIP card, I wouldn't have needed to pay to get the information from World News. Remembering such a scene, I reminded myself to keep it in my heart, as I would make sure to pummel him greatly whenever I saw him. But I knew that was another thing to think about for another day.

Inside the food room, I brought 50 pieces of cheese. The great aroma filled the entire room, bringing about a sense of refreshing scene, and hunger. My stomach started rumbling, as I knew it had been a while since I had eaten, especially after all those tiring and dangerous fights. I knew I had to feed my famished stomach. I took in a large amount of cheese, consuming and demolishing as much as I could. "Aah," I exhaled lightly after eating just enough to satisfy me. I knew better than to fill my stomach to its limit or above; I was sure I wouldn't want that.

"Now, time to start with my plan," I said as I tapped my stomach with a sense of fulfillment. I brought close to 100 pieces of cheese from the cold freezer and placed them into a sack. As I passed by the corridor, I laid them one by one, with every step having one or two pieces of cheese placed on that area. Finally, I arrived at the entrance to my living room. Entering stealth mode, I placed the last piece of cheese in my hands onto the ground as I dashed back to the food room, propelling the fan in my left hand. It sent the aroma of the cheese towards the Wraith hounds, making way for the food room.
