*Zivan*
After parking the car, we got out. Our neighbors had arrived at the same time as us. As had Kai's family who had invited us here. Sayuri's family was the last one to arrive. Sekin had come alone via motorbike.
"I'll carry the kids," Seiya's Ma said, smiling at Kain as they got out of their own vehicle.
"Thanks, honey," her husband replied, kissing her.
"Hey, no P.D.A. ," Seiya said, chuckling.
Sou nodded and ran off with his little brother in arm. His sister jumped out of Seiya's arms and followed them too.
"Hey!" Zetsuna yelled as her kids.
I laughed as Seiya's little siblings stared at the zoo entrance with shimmering eyes. Sou was still as childish as Ava said.
Ava sighed as she walked over to her crib buddy. "Wonder who the kid here is..."
Sou pointed at his siblings.
My sister glanced at Purpura who was looking at the animals on the sign with almost as much vigor as the kids. "He came too?"
Sou nodded.
"Looks like he's intrigued," an orange-haired girl with green eyes said as several others walked toward us.
Those eyes, she must've belonged to the Malachite Clan... Those said to be able to revive the dead.
"Hey, Rena. Thanks for inviting us," Ava said, smiling slightly.
She turned away. "Kai did, not me."
Kai snickered. "Not that you were against the idea of inviting our friends."
Rena fidgeted.
Sekin laughed as he patted her on the shoulder. "You should try to be a little more honest, Rena."
She grumbled, face red.
My sister snickered.
"Hey, Ziv," Seiya said as he stood next to me. I hadn't noticed him moving closer.
I smiled slightly. "Hey."
He grabbed my hand and pulled me away while everyone else grabbed tickets.
"Hey, can't we hold off on the make out session for later. Your parents are nearby."
He blushed. "I don't wanna make out. It's more serious."
I chuckled. "Figured. What's wrong?"
My boyfriend blinked. "Did you not notice it on the way hear?"
I tilted my head. "Noticed what?"
"Wow. And I'm usually the oblivious one when it comes to this stuff."
I grumbled. "Out with it."
He snickered a bit. "There's an eerie presence hanging over this city." He gulped as he stared back to the ticket booth. "I fear something is coming."
I sighed as I pulled my hand back. "Then it's a good thing that I invited Davina and her retainer."
His eyes glistened. "Davina is coming?"
I narrowed my eyes at him. He sure was infatuated with that princess idol.
He cleared his throat. "I mean, good move!" He gave me a thumbs up and flashed me a toothy grin.
I turned away. "Yeah, but it's to increase security." I glanced at our siblings and their friends. "There are rarely these many stone bearers together. It's sure to attract trouble."
I sighed. "True." He gasped. "Wait, but if we're all here, who will protect the village?"
He sighed. "I put together a few safeguards. That said, Sehun decided to stay back, just in case anything goes down."
Seiya glanced at Sou and frowned. "I see."
"I'm thinking that maybe I should've stayed back too." I glanced at my leg. It hadn't completely healed yet.
He grabbed my arm and wrapped up around his shoulder. "You can just lean on your boyfriend."
I blushed. "T-thanks."
He chuckled before giving me a quick kiss on the cheek.
I glanced away and felt a smile creeping on my face.
"Come on, let's rejoin the others," Seiya said.
"Alright," I mumbled, walking forward.
"You two look cute together," Seiya's mother commented, smiling.
Seiya blushed and smiled slightly. "T-thanks, Mom."
His dad walked off. "Let's hurry and see the lions. It's almost dinner time, so we should be able to see them."
Zetsuna snickered. "You're as impatient as Sou, aren't you?"
"Hey, I'm not. It's just, well, it'll be a shame if we missed them," Cain replied, sighing.
Zetsuna smiled and held onto his arm.
He smiled and walked off.
Seiya sighed.
"What's wrong?"
"Didn't you see Dad's reaction when he saw us? He seemed uncomfortable."
"Yeah. Guess, he hasn't gotten used to you being gay. But, you've got me now, and that's not going to change. You're not a failure, Seiya."
Seiya smiled. "You always know what to say."
I chuckled. "Not really. But, I do my best."
"I like that about you."
I smiled.
"You two sure are adorable," Mom said, snickering as she walked over to us with Haviva and Evan.
Evan stuck his tongue out. "They're sappy. Yuck!"
Haviva laughed.
"Oh, shut up," I grumbled.
Mom laughed. She glanced at Dad who was staring at the sky.
"Is everything alright?" Mom asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.
He sighed. "I have a bad feeling."
"Seiya said the same thing," I said.
Dad blinked and stared at us. "Did you not feel it yourself?"
I shook my head.
"That's unusual, usually, you and Ava pick up on this stuff." He glanced at my sister. "But, she seems unaware. That said, we're in a large crowd, so we're bound to attract a bit of attention."
I sighed. "I suppose you're right."
He chuckled. "Let's worry about it later. Right now, let's have fun!"
"Yeah!" a green-haired man with a scruff beard said. He had a muscular build.
Dad gasped. "Your eyes, are you a Malachite?"
He laughed. "Yep! I'm Kai and Rena's father." His smile subsided somewhat. "You are Ava's father, correct?"
Dad nodded and extended his hand. "Indeed. Nice to meet you."
Kai's father took it and shook.
"Likewise."
"You sure are an impressive looking fellow," Mom said, chuckling.
Kai's father grinned. "Why, thank you."
Dad narrowed his eyes. "What are you trying to say about me, dear?"
Mom snickered. "I love you no matter what, honey."
He blushed.
I laughed.
"You two sure get along," Kai's father said, smiling.
Dad smirked. "Yeah. And, even after all these years, she still has my heart."
Mom giggled.
"Anyway, let's go catch up with the others!"
"Lion time!" Seiya said, pumping his fist.
I snickered. Seemed he was as childish as his younger siblings.
He stared at me. "What's so funny?"
I shook my head. "Nothing. Come on, let's go."
He smiled and kissed me again.
"Ugh, come on! Save that for later," I said, blushing as my parents and Kai's dad were watching.
Mom snickered and walked ahead with father and Mr. Malachite.
Seiya smiled slightly. "It nice how both your parents are so accepting."
"Yeah. They just want us to be happy. Although, they did worry about passing on the bloodline."
He frowned. "Oh, I see."
I patted him on the back. "But, as long as we have each other, nothing else matters, right?"
He blushed and nodded. "Right."
"Plus, my parents got Evan and Haviva to fall back on, so, that's a plus."
"You think they'll have kids?"
I shrugged. "Although, I think Evan likes your sister a bit."
"What? Really? Since when?"
"He kept talking about her a few days ago."
"Hmm, wonder if he'll tell her. They're both pretty oblivious."
I chuckled. "Evan can be a bit of prideful dummy, so I doubt it."
He snickered. "It's kind of funny that our siblings like each other."
"Yeah. You know, at one point, I thought Sou and Ava would get together."
Seiya glanced at his little bro. "I don't know, seems he's really into Sehun."
I stared at the two. They were chatting with Purpura, Sayuri, Kai, and Rena.
"That guy give off some weird vibes," I said, staring at Purpura.
Seiya smiled. "But, he seems pretty chill. I can't see him doing anything to Sou."
I nodded. "Yeah." I sighed. "He's suffered a lot."
"You mean, the experiments?"
I nodded.
Seiya looked down. "We need to do something about Prince Suoh." He glanced at the prince's son, Sekin.
"Worried about him?"
He shook his head. "I think he's innocent, but I do fell bad for him."
I stared at the ground. "Well, his family is a real problem. Maybe once we deal with his dad, things will get better."
Seiya nodded. "I sure hope so. Although, we might also require Prince Suoh's help to defeat the Dark Lord."
I stared at him. "You're right. He probably has more knowledge than us."
He grabbed my hand. "Well, enough chat about work. Let's go see those lions!"
I snickered. "Right. Let's go."
