The next night, the sun goes down behind the Red rock mountains in the west. The city council is in Carolyn's office. The whole office is filled with silence in the air. Victoria, Cedric, Olivia, and Stavros look out the window. Brian hangs up the phone with the governor's office by Carolyn's desk. The group looks at him.
"What did he say?" Cedric asks.
"His assistant just alerted him about what was going on in the city. They're going to get the announcement set up and broadcast live." Brian said, sitting in the chair, crossing his legs.
"What should we do at this point?"
"Just alert everyone to leave and escort them to a designated area away from Las Vegas."
"Las Vegas is just this jurisdiction. What about Paradise or Henderson?" Stavros said.
"Nobody should be anywhere near the strip or 80 miles away from Vegas." Brian commanded. "Somewhere in the outskirts. Like Primm, Mesquite, Logandale, or Pahrump. Just direct them somewhere outside the city."
"Okay!" The group said.
"Head to your ward and tell them where to go."
"Right!" The group disappeared to their designated area. Brian walks out of Carolyn's office. Heading outside to the medical district. Meanwhile In Carson City, A tall, peach tan skin man walks inside his office. The state of Nevada camera crew and most news outlets started to set up their cameras. The man looks at a short woman wearing a white dress shirt with black pants walking up to him.
"Ready Governor Sisolak?" The woman asks.
"Ready when you are."
The woman let the Governor pass by her. As he sits down behind his desk, he breathes to calm himself down. The director of communication counts down.
"We're on at 5...4..-" he continues counting with his fingers, 3... 2...1. He points at the governor. The camera starts recording him. The whole city of Las Vegas cuts every screen in everyone's houses along with the Strip casino screens showing the Governor. The locals and tourists look up at the screen.
"Good Evening Southern Nevadians, This is your Governor Steven Sisolak. Citizens and Local tourists of Las Vegas, Nevada. I have received a notice from your local City council about a dangerous terrorist act in your city. I can't speak no more on what going to happen but as your Governor, I have to declare an 'City Emergency' and advise you all to evacuate your homes and follow your local authorities to go to your designated evacuation area,"
As Sisolak continues his announcement, Azenith walks into the kitchen. She looks at Jason sitting on the couch watching the announcement. Jason looks at Azenith.
"What's going on?" Azenith asks.
"Sisolak is declaring a state of emergency and telling everyone in Vegas to leave immediately."
"He got word of what's going to happen?"
"Apparently so." Jason said, he looks at Dylan walking down the stairs. Azenith looks at Dylan as he walks in the kitchen.
"You guys ready?" Dylan asks.
Jason and Azenith nod.
"Is Alyssa, Monica, and Cassandra out there right now?" Azenith asks.
"They're helping out the crowd head to Jean, Primm, and Pahrump. They'll meet us when we're down at the strip. Right now, let's get everyone out of the city."
"Right."
Azenith and Jason grab their weapons, raising it up to the roof.
"Let's claw it!" They yelled as they changed into their hero forms. Dylan smiles as he clashes his knuckles. Sparks of blue lightning surround him as he changes into his hero form. The group walks out the door, they look at the neighbors driving down the street with their families and their belongings with them.
"Alright, I'm gonna head over to Black Mountain area. You guys can head over to the city and meet me there."
"Okay!"
Jason and Azenith start to run over to the strip. Dylan jumps over the backyard and flies over to Black Mountain. Meanwhile at the Historic Westside, Justine walks out of their arcade. Cerena, Vivian, and Raya walk out behind Justine as she holds the door for them. She closes it and locks the door. They head over to the backyard. Dixie purks her head up and chirps.
"Did your parents say anything about the evacuation and do you know where you guys are going?" Justine asks.
"My mom wants to know where she's supposed to go." Raya said.
"Your mom should be driving up to Mesquite."
"Are you going to evacuate, Justine?" Vivian asks.
"I have to stay with my dad to help evacuate and then head over to Carolyn's house. Dixie will take you guys back home to your families."
"Justine. This is dangerous! Do you know if Michele sees you?" Cerena said.
"I know... Michele will kill me. That's why Carolyn told me to come to her house to keep shelter."
"Fuck that.. We're staying." Raya spoke up.
"Oh no guys, you have to go with your family. I don't want them to worry about me."
Raya slaps Justine.
"Ow.."
Raya grabs Justine's shirt, bringing her down to her height.
"We're staying. We are not leaving you here by yourself."
"You sure? I mean, do you all agree with this?" Justine asks.
Vivian and Cerena nod. Justine nods.
"Okay, come on, let's head over to Carolyn's before the traffic gets hectic." they continued. Justine gets on Dixie along with the group.
"Take us to Carolyn's house please."
DIxie chirps, she gets up and walks out the gates. As she walks down Jackson street, Dixie walks towards Ghost. He walks out the restaurant, locking the doors behind him. Justine spots him.
"Pops!"
Ghost turns around and sees Dixie and Justine walking up to them.
"Juju, did you see the announcement?" Ghost asks.
"I did, did Felicity leave yet?"
"She's coming right now to get me. Where are you heading off to?"
"Carolyn told me to come over to her house after redirecting everyone to their designated area."
"Oh no kid, we don't need to tell people where to go. Metro is doing that right now. You go ahead and do your thing. Make sure you call me when you get there."
"Alrighty!" Justine said, "I will!"
Dixie chirps, Ghost pets her.
"Be good Dixie. Make sure to get her and her friend there safely." he commands, Dixie chirps as she starts walking towards Washington Avenue. Cars crowd the streets as police officers guide them to where they need to go. Dixie crouches down getting ready to launch herself.
"Uh.. what is she doing?" Raya asks Justine.
"She's about to jump over some cars," Justine said, grabbing Dixie's horns. "You guys might want to hold on to something and each other. We're about to get to Carolyn's house really quickly."
"Oh hell no!" Raya yelled. Her dragon tail wraps around Dixie's body, quickly. She wraps around her arms around Vivian, Vivian wraps around Cerena, Cerena wraps around Justine. Dixie chirps and jumps over the street full of cars. The group starts screaming loudly as she lands and starts running across the empty deserted land where the Moulin Rouge once stood. She starts running up across the Review Journal building, cutting across the highway entrance to Eastern.
"Head on to Shadow Lane, Dixie!" Justine commands. Dixie chirps as she starts to launch herself over a bunch of cars crowding Martin Luther King Boulevard. As she lands onto the sidewalk, she starts running past the Las Vegas Metropolitan police department heading onto Shadow Lane, running towards Carolyn's neighborhood. Meanwhile, at Carolyn's house, Carolyn grabs her black jacket and puts it on while she walks outside out of her front door. She stands on her front porch, watching her neighbors leave their houses to evacuate out the city. Oscar walks outside the front door. He sees Carolyn standing out the porch.
"Did Brian call Steven for this?" He asks. Carolyn looks back at him.
"He has to, I told him to do that earlier just in case we end up destroying the city."
"Hm.. fair."
Dixie along with Justine, Cerena, Vivian, and Raya runs up to Carolyn and Oscar's yard. She stops as she slides on the grass. She chirps as the girls get off the bison. Carolyn pets Dixie.
"Hey Carolyn!" Justine exclaims.
"Hey Justine, perfect timing! Oscar and I were just about to leave."
"We got here really perfectly actually." Raya said. Caroyln chuckles. She grabs the house keys and gives them to Justine.
"Here's the keys to the house. Justine, you're in charge until we get back... Hopefully we will..Make yourselves at home. There's food in the fridge and... Oh! I made some food for Dixie. It should be in the fridge." Carolyn said.
The group opens the gate and heads inside the house. "Okay! Thank you, Carolyn!" Justine said.
"Justine!" Justine stops and looks back at Carolyn. "Remember what I said yesterday. Don't come to the fight. If you do, don't watch it from a close distance. You know why."
"Michele will kill me if I get near the fight. Yeah..."
"I'm serious Justine."
"I know! Don't worry about me or any of us. We should be just fine."
Carolyn smiles. She kisses Justine on the cheek. Oscar smiles.
"Alright, I trust you guys making the right decisions. You guys have fun and stay safe."
"Okay! We will!"
Carolyn and Oscar smile as they walk off their lawn. Oscar grabs Carolyn's hand as they both start flying towards downtown. Carolyn looks at the bright lights in Downtown, she calmly smiles as she looks. Oscar looks at Carolyn smiling. He smiles softly.
"We got a couple of minutes before Michele gets here. Want to sit on top of the Plaza Hotel looking Downtown?"
"Hm?" Caroly looks at Oscar. "Oh yeah, we can do that." She said, smiling. The couple heads towards the Plaza hotel. The couple landed on the rooftop of the hotel. The sky lit up with colorful neon lights shining through the streets of Downtown. Cars running down the street, heading onto the highway.
"So beautiful.." Carolyn said, softly smiling. Her eyes started to tear up. Oscar looks at Carolyn.
"Sweetheart? Are you alright?" Oscar asks. Carolyn starts crying.
"Oh Oscar, I'm not ready to fight Michele. I'm not. I'm not ready to die... I can't leave behind all of my accomplishments. Especially the one I'm trying to accomplish."
"Mh.."
"I don't know why I'm scared to die, I mean. Dying is a part of life, you know. If it's my time to go, it's my time to go. But I don't want to die alone. Michele is pretty stronger than me."
"I don't think you'll be dying alone..."
Carolyn interrupts Oscar.
"Oh please! Michele would make my death look like no bloody accident and just like anyone else that she fought. She makes no mistakes on killing anyone that she targets...I'm the one that she targets the most and she has no problem killing me. She-"
Oscar gently grabs Carolyn's shirt, pulling her closer to him, leaning in, kissing her. Carolyn breaks up the kiss, blushing. Oscar, no hesitation, grabs her hands, locking his hands with hers as he kisses Carolyn again. Her face turns red, she gives in to the kiss. Oscar breaks up the kiss, leaving Carolyn puzzled while her face still red from blushing.
"Can you be quiet and listen to me please?" Oscar asks, bluntly. Carolyn stays quiet. He continues.
"You panicking is not doing nothing but making you more scared than you already are. You're just a firecracker, exploding in different areas. Carolyn, you're stronger than Michele. You may not see it but I do. The recent fights with her whether it's vocal or physical, you never back down from a fight. Hell, look at what you're doing right now. Even you fight all alone with Michele. You have backup and you are not dying alone. I'll be by your side in this fight to the end, dying or not. At least we tried saving the city we built together." Oscar said, putting his hand on Carolyn's cheek, wiping away her tears.
"What if you are not there by my side during the fight?" Carolyn asks.
"I will, I'm not leaving you in this fight."
"Oscar! I'm serious!"
"Carolyn..."
"Oscar."
"Don't make me kiss you again and this time. I'm pinning you down."
Carolyn opened her mouth but closed it. She looks away, grunting. Oscar grabs Carolyn's chin and moves her head, facing towards him.
"I'm not gonna leave you. I made a promise to help you defeat her and dismantle her mafia and I'm fighting with you to the end." Oscar said, smiling softly.
"Really?" Carolyn asks. "You would do that for me?"
"I'm sacrificing my life. You're my best friend and wife I ever had in my life. I'm going to help you accomplish your goal like you helped me accomplish mine."
"Oh.. Oscar.." Carolyn said, softly smiling. Oscar smiles, leaning in to kiss Carolyn. Carolyn covers his mouth, stopping him.
"Wait a minute, weren't you kissing me to shut me up earlier?" She said, chuckling.
"I was but now I'm kissing you just because I love you. Passionately."
Carolyn chuckles as she blushes. "Oh stop... you're making me blush."
"I'm going to make you blush harder." Oscar leans in to kiss Carolyn. Carolyn chuckles and kisses Oscar, passionately kissing him. Oscar gives in. He gently presses his body onto Carolyn's leaning towards the roof floor while continuing to kiss Carolyn passionately. Pinning her down. Michele flies past Fremont street. She looks at the couple kissing each other on the roof of the Plaza hotel. Her eyes widened.
"Ohh... somebody is having good passionate roof sex. So daring and kinky~ I got to see who's doing this and maybe convince Joey to do this to me~" Michele said, as she landed behind the couple. She looked closely at the couple and she saw a familiar face.
Carolyn and Oscar.
Carolyn and Oscar break up the kiss, laughing at each other. Michele claps and smirks.
"Is this what you mean by, 'you enjoy sleeping with the mayor' Oscar?"
Carolyn and Oscar look at Michele, shocked.
"Well... look what we have here? Oscar trying to protect his "sensitive" little kike wife? Did you cry that you'll die alone Carolyn? You forgot that I make no mistakes in killing people that I have no care for. I'll make sure you won't see him again." She laughs menacingly. Oscar and Carolyn get up from the edge of the rooftop. Facing Michele angrily.
"She's not going to fight you alone, Michele." Oscar spoke up.
"Oh really now? Can't she fight by herself? Weak typical Carolyn."
"She can, but I'm fighting alongside with her."
Michele scoffs. "I can take you out easily, just try me."
Oscar grunts. He sparks his fire powers as he starts running towards Michele, throwing a punch towards her. Michele dodges the punch. She grabs Oscar's wrist, pulling his whole body towards her, kneeing him in the stomach hard. Causing him to cough up blood. Michele punches Oscar in the face, combining her punches with a knee up to his chin, and punches his nose, breaking it. Chopping his neck, causing Oscar to lose his balance trying to stand up and defend himself. She sparks her fire powers, clenching her hand into a fist. Charing up her powers, she punches Oscar in the stomach hard, launching him towards the golden nugget hotel, and crashing into the building hard. Carolyn watches him crash into the building. She sparks her electric powers in anger, clenching her fist. She charges at her, throwing multiple punches at Michele. Michele dodges the punches from Carolyn. She punches Carolyn in the stomach, causing her to cough up blood and make her lose balance. She limps over but still stands and punches Michele in the face and her nose, breaking it and letting the blood ooze out of her nose. Michele limps over. She touches her face and wipes the blood from her nose.
"So weak, you're still not strong enough," Michele said, getting up. "But since you have some decency of catching my face and breaking my nose, I have no choice but to... make you learn your lesson again."
Michele strikes Carolyn with sparks of lightning, and the lightning hits her chest, hitting the nerves in her body. Causing Carolyn's body to go into shock and paralyzing her. She couldn't move.
"DAMMIT.... So.. n-not fair..." Carolyn mumbled, almost falling off the building. Michele speeds towards Carolyn, catching her body and throwing her towards Fremont Street Experience, with a hard throw. She crashes through the awning of the Street. Landing on the sidewalk hard. Her back spine shattered as she slid towards Fremont hotel. Carolyn screeches in pain. Michele appears in front of Carolyn, smirking.
