"Angel Legion?"
The Angel Legion, absent for a long time, had suddenly gathered a significant force to attack Asgard, seemingly seeking revenge.
Hela had a clear understanding of the past conflicts between Asgard and Heaven.
"These unscrupulous individuals. Is one act of betrayal not enough? Do they wish to annihilate us?"
"Quickly inform Thor, the God of War, Tyr, and other Asgardian gods to lead a hundred thousand troops from the Lord God Legion. Also, instruct Thor, the God of Thunder, to prevent these angels from entering Asgard and damaging the city. Repairing the damage would be troublesome."
"Yes, Lord God King."
By this time, with the help of the Infinity Gems, the gods of Asgard had ascended to the level of Heavenly Fathers. Asgard now possessed the strength of a full God Legion soldier, and every Asgardian god had the power of a Heavenly Father.
Upon learning of the full-scale invasion by the Heavenly Angel Legion, Asgard promptly rallied the Lord God Legion for battle, and Rhodes received the news as well.
He teleported to Hela's side.
Hela took the opportunity to brief Rhodes.
Rhodes commented, "I've known about it. I sensed their presence in the Nine Realms from the beginning."
Hela was momentarily surprised by Rhodes' extraordinary perception, unaware that he had possessed this ability for some time.
Rhodes then proposed a different approach.
"We don't need to engage them directly. With the strength of our Asgard Lord God Legion, we're unbeatable. But repeated battles outside Asgard will be time-consuming. I suggest we capture their leader, the Queen of Heaven. Once we control her mind, they will surrender. What do you think?"
Hela had not considered this option.
"Yes, if we directly control their leader, the Queen of Heaven, they will surrender without a fight. It's a better strategy, considering the economic losses we'd incur if we engage in battles."
Although Asgard was thriving and its economic power had increased significantly, relentless warfare could still affect its resources and economic stability.
Rhodes then teleported to the battlefield outside Asgard.
The Asgardian Lord God Legion, led by Thor, the God of Thunder, was already engaged in combat.
Opposite them, the angelic legion, under the command of the Queen of Heaven, had formed a formidable formation, preventing the Asgard Lord God Legion from easily breaking through their lines.
Countless angelic warriors donned gleaming golden armor, illuminating the once-dark space.
The 100,000-strong Asgard Lord God Legion seemed outnumbered. However, their might was unparalleled, and they could handle any battle with ease.
The Queen of Heaven, upon seeing their opponent's level of power, was left speechless. Not even Hela, the leader on the Asgardian side, had appeared.
What the Queen of Heaven didn't realize was that the Asgardian gods had all ascended to the level of Heavenly Fathers, a fact that Rhodes had known for some time.
At that moment, the Queen of Heaven launched a sudden attack against Rhodes with the Heaven Scepter in hand. However, Rhodes had already anticipated her moves.
"Master Rhodes, you're here. You needn't bother with such trivial matters; we'll obliterate these angels swiftly."
The Queen of Heaven was infuriated by Thor's nonchalant attitude and remained silent.
Rhodes voiced his thoughts.
"No need to trouble ourselves with this. It will be over in seconds. I must admit, it's the first time I've seen so many birdlike creatures flying in the sky. Despite their limited strength, they are fascinating to watch."
The Queen of Heaven was left fuming at Rhodes' description of her kind.
Thor continued with a cheeky grin.
"If Lord Rhodes enjoys their company, I'll capture some beautiful female angels and present them to you later."
Rhodes exchanged a meaningful glance with Thor.
"Ahem, let's forget that idea. Hela might not appreciate it."
Thor acknowledged, aware of Hela's temper.
The Queen of Heaven, irritated by Rhodes and Thor's casual attitude, lashed out.
She teleported to attack Rhodes, but Rhodes had already anticipated her actions.
A yellow light gleamed in Rhodes' eyes.
Rhodes possessed the most potent mind control abilities, surpassing even Hela.
Typically, even with Hela's powers at the peak Heavenly Father level, it would take time to control the Queen of Heaven's mind. Yet, in the next moment, the Queen of Heaven knelt before Rhodes.
Peak Heavenly Father level? Insignificant.
The Queen of Heaven surrendered to Rhodes.
She declared, "Heaven now submits to Lord Rhodes and Asgard. We shall obey Asgard and never act against it. This is my highest command. All of Heaven must follow it without hesitation."
The angels of Heaven were bewildered, unable to accept this reality.
"This can't be. Our Lady Queen must be under Asgard's control. We bear a deep grudge against Asgard; we must save our Queen and attack Asgard."
Rhodes looked at the angels who continued to attack Asgard.
"Your Queen surrendered without a fight. Don't you understand the power gap between us? This is foolish. What are these birdlike creatures thinking?"
At that moment, Thor prepared to subdue the angels who persisted in attacking Asgard.
Rhodes extended his right hand and, using space manipulation, imprisoned those angels.
Rhodes created thousands of independent spaces, each confining a single angel. Within these spaces, the angels retained their consciousness but could not move.
Rhodes said, "Space strangulation."
In an instant, the angels imprisoned in those spaces disappeared entirely, leaving no trace. They were reduced to the fundamental elements of the universe.
Thor and the Asgardian gods were left stunned.
Rhodes' strength was truly extraordinary, capable of wiping out entire angel legions in an instant, if necessary.
Rhodes set an example for the remaining angels.
The angels, terror-stricken, had their lives in Rhodes' hands, making them realize the futility of resisting.
Rhodes' cold voice echoed in their ears.
"You have two choices: obey your Queen's command and surrender to Asgard, or meet the same fate as those who perished."
The angels, terrified, chose to surrender.
Thor and the gods of Asgard breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Rhodes' presence alone could resolve any problem, sparing them from engaging in battles with Heaven.
Rhodes issued his orders.
