"Hmph, a misunderstanding... of course, it's a misunderstanding," Rhodes gritted his teeth as he spoke.
"Where is Hela now? Is she in Asgard's prison?"
"No, Princess Hela realized that the gods had sent people to arrest her, so she hurriedly left Asgard with her guards. Since Princess Hela reacted swiftly, the gods of Asgard didn't manage to stop her."
"All I know is that Princess Hela took some people to other worlds, possibly the Bifrost or other realms. As of now, Asgardian warriors are searching for Princess Hela across all realms."
"As for which world Princess Hela went to, I'm not sure."
Rhodes nodded.
Hearing this news, Rhode felt somewhat relieved. Knowing that Hela was safe for now was better than her being captured by God King Odin.
With this knowledge, Rhodes could quell some of his anxiety. He took a deep breath to calm his anger.
"Don't worry, I will protect Hela. Thank you for the information."
"You're welcome, Lord Rhodes. We all know you're a good person. Please take good care of Princess Hela."
"I will."
Rhodes abruptly leaped up, his figure vanishing from the princess's mansion in the next moment.
The maid watched Rhodes disappear, murmuring a prayer, as if she were beseeching for the safety of both Rhodes and Hela.
At this moment, Rhodes's eyes turned scarlet.
"Odin and the Asgardian Protoss, it's time to settle this score and clean your clocks. I'm coming."
Rhodes's figure flashed, and he swiftly arrived in front of the Temple of God King Odin.
The guards of the Odin Temple observed Rhodes's arrival but didn't attempt to stop him.
Rhodes wore a somber expression as he advanced toward God King Odin's temple step by step.
At that moment, God King Odin was seated in the hall, conversing with several other gods.
Upon seeing Rhodes enter, God King Odin displayed a smile.
"Here you are, Rhodes. I didn't expect you to be so audacious now, having defeated both the Frost Giants and the Flame Giants. I'm quite relieved."
"Odin, are you relieved? I'm certainly not."
Rhodes sneered, gazing at God King Odin seated on the God King's throne.
As soon as Rhodes uttered this, the surrounding gods were taken aback.
Holder, the God of Darkness, angrily reprimanded Rhodes.
"Presumptuous, Rhodes, how dare you show such disrespect to the great God King?"
"Be gone, where did this mutt come from? You have no business here. If you wish to live, leave."
Holder, the God of Darkness, hadn't expected Rhodes to be so fierce today, completely ignoring them.
Holder, the God of Darkness, summoned a colossal black scythe imbued with divine power and was about to attack Rhodes.
But Rhodes had come prepared for a fight today; he wasn't afraid of this guy. He casually raised his right hand, and the guardian spear materialized in Rhodes's grip.
God King Odin raised his hand to halt Holder, the God of Darkness.
"Rhode, is there a misunderstanding between us? What happened that has you so furious?"
Rhodes burst into laughter.
"Hahaha... Odin, you've truly mastered the art of deception."
"You've accused your daughter of betraying Asgard with the flimsiest of reasons. Even if this group of incompetents betrayed Asgard, Hela wouldn't have."
"You...."
As soon as Rhodes spoke these audacious words, many of the Asgardian gods present grew agitated.
Tyr, the God of War, raised his giant sword with fiery fervor.
"Rhode, who are you calling incompetent? Say it again if you dare."
Baldr, the God of Light, also wore a somber expression, while Heimdall attempted to reason with Rhodes.
"Rhodes, don't do something foolish. There's a reason behind what happened to Hela. Apologize to God King Odin now, and the forgiving God King Odin may pardon your transgressions."
"Forgiveness? Pardon?"
"Seems you've misunderstood your roles here. I had no interest in conversing with you before out of respect for Hela. Now, you're slandering her and wishing her harm?"
"Odin, what happened to Hela?"
Before God King Odin could respond, Holder, the God of Darkness, chimed in.
"Rhodes, you've offended the gods and the God King Odin. You're as good as dead. Hela deserved what she got. She bedded the Frost Giants and the Flame Giants, betrayed Asgard, and betrayed God King Odin. The evidence is irrefutable; she brought this upon herself."
"Evidence? If you have evidence, I'd love to see it. It's up to you. I've been irritated by your presence long enough. Today, I'll settle this score."
Rhodes challenged Holder, the God of Darkness.
Holder, the God of Darkness, was stunned when Rhodes posed this question.
Evidence?
The charges against Hela were all fabricated out of thin air. Where could the evidence possibly come from?
Holder, the God of Darkness, roared angrily.
"Get him! Arrest Rhodes!"
Holder, the God of Darkness, summoned the guards of Asgard to apprehend Rhodes.
Hundreds of Asgardian guards rushed towards the Temple of Odin, wielding spears in their hands.
"Back off!"
Rhodes had no patience to deal with these Asgardian warriors.
With a thunderous roar from Rhodes, an immensely powerful and scorching light erupted from his body.
A colossal impact immediately radiated outward from Rhodes.
Asgard had the sun, providing Rhodes with a constant source of energy, and no god could outlast Rhodes in a battle of attrition.
Under Rhodes's powerful explosive force, the hundreds of Asgardian guards were sent flying in reverse.
Rhodes's shockwave swept them away like snowflakes in a blizzard, hurling them hundreds of meters into the sky before they plummeted back to earth.
Meanwhile, the Temple of God King Odin was utterly obliterated by Rhodes's shockwave.
Even as one of the sturdiest structures in Asgard, it couldn't endure for even ten seconds against Rhodes's wrath.
The massive impact catapulted the entire temple into the air.
Its pillars and walls disintegrated into rubble.
Even the gods of Asgard could only barely resist Rhodes's shockwave.
Tyr, the God of War, planted his giant sword into the ground to stabilize himself.
Other gods struggled to withstand Rhodes's shockwave with their own weapons.
Holder, the God of Darkness, wasn't the most formidable among Asgard's gods. He was inadvertently blown away, crashing into a colossal pillar.
Holder, the God of Darkness, cried out in agony. Even as a god, he couldn't withstand Rhodes's tremendous impact.
His body collided repeatedly with the temple's pillars and debris, nearly incapacitating him before he managed to use his enormous scythe to anchor himself to the ground.
Nonetheless, Holder, the God of Darkness, was still flung tens of meters away.
At this moment, Rhodes ceased his roar.
But the entire Temple of God King Odin lay in ruins due to Rhodes's shockwave.
All that remained were shattered remnants of the structure and fallen gods.
Only God King Odin remained seated in his place.
After all, as a God King, he retained some of his power.
But God King Odin wasn't unscathed; Rhodes's shockwave had depleted a significant portion of his divine power.
God King Odin gazed at Rhodes with horror in his eyes.
He couldn't fathom that Rhodes possessed such formidable strength.
The gods who had been battered by Rhodes struggled to their feet, trembling.
Someone yelled, "Protect God King Odin and slay Rhodes."
Rhodes sneered.
"Hmph, is it up to you?"
Tyr, the God of War, managed to withstand Rhodes's shockwave with his weapon. He hastily drew his giant sword and charged at Rhodes, who was observing God King Odin.
Rhodes saw Tyr, clad in his golden God of War armor, approaching to strike him.
"Absurd."
Rhodes raised the guardian spear in his hand and pointed it at Tyr's giant sword.
Tyr watched as Rhodes used the tip of his spear to deflect his mighty giant sword, thinking Rhodes was courting death.
Tyr had already envisioned Rhodes being cleaved in two by his giant sword.
"Charge...."
Tyr swung his giant sword, with golden divine power emanating from his body in a dazzling display.
Rhodes nonchalantly gripped his spear with one hand and lightly tapped it against the blade of Tyr's giant sword.
In an instant, a tremendous force surged from Tyr's sword.
Tyr's vision blurred, and then his mighty giant sword was sent hurtling through the air.
Tyr stared in disbelief at his empty hands.
Rhodes then kicked upwards, delivering a powerful blow to Tyr's face.
Boom....
A resounding crash ensued.
Tyr was sent flying, smashing through half of the already damaged pillar in the Temple of Odin before soaring into the distance like a golden streak of light.
