Evelyn drank the cold glass of water that Clyde had given her and she began to settle her nerves. Her magic was still in chaos from the ritual, but she was sure that it was a success. She could not pinpoint exactly what had changed, but she felt like her powers were awakening.
"How do you feel?" Clyde asked, worry lacing his tone.
"I saw my mother," Evelyn replied softly.
Clyde raised an eyebrow at her response but said nothing, he wanted her to open up to him on her own.
"She told me there is a book buried at the estate that I will need," she continued. "I will need to go home and retrieve it."
"I can send George to get it for you," Clyde suggested.
"No," Evely shook her head. "I know where it is buried; I should be the one to uncover it."
"Very well," Clyde replied. "When would you like to go back and retrieve it?"
