Evelyn changed into a pair of leather pants and vest, similar to the ones she wore on the road with Clyde, but they were lighter and she felt like she could move more freely in them. She laced up a pair of boots and found Richolo waiting for her outside of her chambers.
"You look ready now," he said.
Evelyn swallowed and followed behind him as he led the way through the halls in silence. They entered a small courtyard where she saw a large rack of swords on one side.
"I think this will be good for you," he said as he handled a sword with a slightly curved blade. It was smaller than she thought it would be and she admired the details on the blade. "This is called a sabaro. It is similar to a saber, but it is smaller and should fit your hand better," he said as he handed her the golden hilt.
