Their time on the road was uneventful after George made quick work of the bandits. Just like Clyde had said, they did not see many signs of there being towns or estates nearby. Evelyn did not mind the silence that they rode in, it gave her time to think about what the fae kingdom may be like and what may lie ahead for her.
"We should stop here for the night," Clyde said, pulling her out of her thoughts.
She looked around and noticed they had come to a stop near a large clearing and a stream. It was a picturesque setting and she smiled at the thought. "Okay," she said. She had not yet grown tired of sitting in her saddle, but the sun was beginning to set in the horizon so it made sense for them to stop now while they could.
"George," Clyde said.
"I am on it, sire," he said and he dismounted his horse.
