Evelyn woke the next morning surprisingly rested. She stretched on her sleeping mat and sighed.
"Good morning," Piper said from her left side.
"I didn't wake you, did I?" She asked.
"No, we have been awake for a little bit," Piper replied.
Evelyn nodded. "Good, I would hate to wake you," she said.
"Let's go get something to eat. It will be a long day," Piper said.
Evelyn stretched again, her muscles loosening under the tension. She got up from her mat and headed out to the fire where George and Clyde were sitting. "Good morning," she said.
George nodded his head, "good morning. I have made something for you to eat. Would you like some coffee?" He asked as he grabbed a mug from a tray.
"That sounds delightful," she said.
George poured her a generous mug and handed it to her, "it is very hot," he said.
Evelyn accepted the mug and took a deep breath, inhaling the strong scent. "Thank you,
she said.
