"I agree with Clyde," Penelope said. "We should leave now while things are still a bit chaotic. No one will have time to question why you have left before the ball."
Evelyn sighed and took a sip from her tea cup. "I guess I will be missing the ball," she said.
"I think it would be best if we set off once you finish giving Roxanne the details for the ward," Clyde said.
"I still have some things to wrap up here," she said. "I will make a few more batches of potions and enchant the saddles that Michael had brought for me."
"Do you need me to go get them?" Clyde asked.
"Would you?" Evelyn asked. "They are in my room. If you could just bring the entire chest at the foot of my bed, that will have everything that I need it in," she said.
"I will go now, but do not push yourself too hard to get those things done, they will understand if you do not make more potions," he said.
