"Were they successful on rescuing everyone?" Evelyn asked.
"We believe we have rescued everyone that had not yet been sold. We are hoping they kept some kind of record so we can find those that were sold before we could rescue them," Clyde replied.
"Oh," Evelyn sighed. "I hope they are able to find them. I still cannot believe that something like this could happen," she said.
"This world is a cruel place," Clyde said.
"Do you really believe that?" Evelyn asked.
Clyde sighed, "I do."
"I am sorry that you see the world that way," Evelyn replied.
"He speaks the truth," Penelope said. "Why else do you think we keep ourselves hidden?"
Evelyn sighed, "I guess I do not know anything about this world."
"That is not your fault," Penelope said reassuringly. "You just have yet to experience life for what it truly is for the less fortunate. You should be mindful that this world is not the same for everyone."
