In the underground laboratory, DAVID looked at the deconstructed parts of the tablet in front of him. There were four main parts of the tablet that interested him: The now-broken screen, the weirdly shaped circuit-like elements made of the unknown material, a small bottle-like structure, and finally, the antenna.
Focusing on efficiency, DAVID decided to start with the circuit-like elements. If he could construct a CPU out of these mysterious components, he believed that deciphering the rest of the tablet would become a faster process.
As DAVID began the tedious journey of deciphering the mysterious circuits within the broken golden tablet, far away in the borders of the Hydazene Kingdom, a pivotal meeting was taking place.
The purple-skinned alien woman, now known as the 'Ambassador,' stood in front of a large table within the grand hall of the kingdom. Compared to her initial arrival, she appeared much paler, her complexion reflecting the toll of her prolonged disconnection from the Lord's energy source.
Had the previous emperor been present, he would have recognized the telltale signs of the same illness that afflicted his father. The woman, with her extensive experience, immediately identified the ailment. It stemmed from her extended separation from the cosmic energy of the Lord. During her arduous journey to the kingdom, she had wasted a large portion of the remaining reservoirs of the Lord's power within her, assuming that on such a remote planet, her connection to the Lord's aura would remain undisturbed.
However, upon assuming control of the kingdom and delving into its historical records, she unearthed a grim truth. Approximately 300 years ago, the planet's beacon, a conduit for the Lord's energy, was destroyed by the local population. While the history books remained silent on the exact reasons, she surmised that the Golden Deacon stationed on the planet had succumbed to corruption. Instead of fulfilling his duty to establish the Lord's dominion, he indulged in a life of opulence and decadence.
At this moment, the final member of the meeting entered the room, drawing the woman's attention away from her introspection.
"Well, you may begin the report," she stated, her voice carrying authority as she signaled the commencement of the proceedings.
As the ministers took turns reporting on the state of their respective domains, the woman observed keenly. Initially, upon assuming control of the kingdom, she had wielded the Lord's power to direct each citizen, ensuring the smooth functioning of the realm. However, with the grim realization that her connection to the Lord's energy would remain depleted for the foreseeable future, she relinquished direct control, appointing ministers to oversee the kingdom's affairs on her behalf.
Following the routine reports from most of the ministers and their requests for further directives, the woman's gaze shifted to three ministers who stood apart from the rest. These individuals were not tasked with managing the populace like their counterparts. Instead, they led specialized teams assigned to unique missions critical to her own quest regarding this planet.
One of them stepped forward and began detailing his progress, "Your Majesty, we have diligently scoured the news from 15 nearby countries for any reports of celestial objects falling from the sky. While we found no such news in those countries, a peculiar incident caught our attention. A large meteorite struck the forests in the Six Temples' territory. Interestingly, the grandmaster of the central temple, Vetior, achieved the legendary realm just a few weeks after the meteorite's impact."
The woman's eyes lit up with newfound interest. She had been sent to this indigenous planet solely because the Lord had detected an unusual meteorite entering the solar system. The faster she could locate and retrieve the meteorite, the sooner she could leave this godforsaken land and return to the embrace of the Lord.
Without hesitation, she issued a command, "Contact the Six Temples immediately and instruct them to hand over the meteorite."
A regular minister attempted to voice a concern, "Your Majesty, the Six Temples' Vetior has ascended to the Legendary realm. Our kingdom lacks a legendary realm entity capable of challenging Vetior. Are you certain about this decision?"
In response, the woman's frustration boiled over, and with a forceful punch, she reduced the table in front of her to dust. She bellowed at the minister, "Is your understanding of your position unclear, Andrew? I give the orders, and you obey. I didn't appoint you to share your opinions."
Witnessing the table disintegrate, Andrew's face paled, and he swiftly bowed to the woman, offering an apology.
Unperturbed, the woman turned her attention to the other two specialized ministers. One of them stepped forward to report, "Your Majesty, our investigations have identified over 25 different temples and shrines in nearby countries that reference a god of vitality. Despite our efforts, none of them match your description."
"Continue the search," the woman commanded before turning her gaze to the final minister.
"Your Majesty, our spies have successfully infiltrated the Silver Kingdom and are working to elevate their positions within the kingdom."
The woman contemplated the information with a sense of gravity. The presence of a burgeoning technological civilization in the Silver Kingdom posed a dire threat, as it contradicted the Lord's vision for this solar system. The Lord had intended a realm rooted in natural energy and the essence of vitality, not a civilization that delved into technological advancements.
"Very well. If possible, seize control of the Silver Kingdom," she instructed.
As the ministers dispersed to carry out their assigned tasks, the woman retreated to her chamber. Looking into a mirror, she observed the paleness of her face. The roots extending from her head were discolored due to her prolonged disconnection from the Lord's energy source. Determination etched across her features, she acknowledged the urgency of completing her mission and returning to the Lord's territory.
"Six Temples, you will surrender the meteorite willingly. If not, I shall demonstrate to you indigenous people the true might of the Lord."
