After waking up from that nightmare, Kuramoto, shocked with his throat dry and thirsty, looked beside him, beside him was a cellar..
He looked out for the surroundings, to find himself, not on his own bed, but at a prison cellar.
He gets up from the bed, Walking towards the bars, grabbing them from both hands, trying to look outside.
As he already was depressed by all the killing, it wasn't enough, now because of the nightmare, it seemed like Kuramoto had completely died on the inside with no emotions visible on his eyes.
He gripped the bars tightly, making it smoking hot, and the bars turning into orange, the color of fire and smoke coming out of it.
He tries his best to bend the bars without making a scene.
Slowly bending by each second but reverting back to its original form through magic.
There was a mirror infront of him, and a washbasin, rusted and dirty.
Walking towards it, He grabs the corners of the basin to look at the mirror.
It was then he realised, he has been dreaming about all of the scenarios in his head without anything actually being real.
Kuramoto, now a medium length white haired male, with a height of 5'7, was now nothing more than a mortal.
"This can't be!" He said in his thoughts.
Suddenly, a large bang came from the cellars.
It was a tall woman, wearing a trench coat of some kind of organisation, wearing glasses with a locker down her neck with the locker having an image of the organisation with long brown with red mixed up with the colored hair woman.
"Hey! Are you Kuramoto?"
"A-AH, That's me, yes right."
"Woah, you're pretty small, aren't you?"
"Wh-what am I doing here?"
"You really forgot? You're imprisoned by the enemy of your beloved so-called empire."
"Wait what!?" He yelled out loud in curiousity running towards the bars and using both of his hands to grab the bars and stare at that woman right at her face.
"Pretty hostile, aren't you?"
"Tell me, what happened to them!?"
"Them? They don't exist anymore, your empire has died off."
Kuramoto, now shocked of the news, couldn't believe it with his own eyes and fell straight down to the untidy floor.
"This is a dream right? Just like the previous ones.." he punched himself.
"Hey, what are you trying to do!?"
"This isn't real" were the words coming out of his mouth while he was punching himself.
"This! Is all real, You were asleep when we, the enemies captured you."
"Today is your judgement day, and be ready for that."
"If you survive, let's become friends" she said in a low and cold tone.
Soon the time for his judgement came.
The soldiers, infront of his cell, unlocked it and bound him by magic cuffs.
Walking him up to the court, and then tying him up with a rope fused with magic power into a pillar, infront of him was, the judge, beside them, the normal civilians.
"With this, I begin your trial."
"Is this true that you have killed over 10 million people."
"Not true" he said, with a smirk on his face.
A priest from the civilization, with a tone of opposition, screamed "NOT TRUE!"
"Elaborate" said the judge.
The priest then proceeds to say "With the divine eye of retribution, The priests, gathered all together and see everything, no matter the past, the present or the future."
"I don't know if it's the past, the present or the future. But he does kill 8 billion people all at once with a humanoid creature big enough to pierce the skies."
"That doesn't prove your point, sit down."
With some more questions like these, Kuramoto, finally proven not guilty, was now a free citizen of the city.
The woman, walked up to him, grabbed his shoulders and was happy that he survived, "YOU HAVE REALLY DONE IT, HAVENT YOU?" Laughing at the questions asked by the judge.
"Well, do you want to get a identity now?"
"Ah yeah."
"About the humanoid creatures that the priest spoke about.. what are they?"
"Well, don't worry about it too much, but if you're curious, I will tell you later."
After getting an identity proof, he became a certified citizen of the land there.
At the edge of the city, he looked above, it was surrounded by high walls, as though protection from someone or something.
"Woahh, these are so tall!!"
After walking to the destination the woman and Kuramoto promised to meet at.
They finally arrived.
They walked into the cafe and started talking about the walls and the creatures.
"Well, The creatures, are different from the beasts or half animal races that you know, as my organisation has wiped them all out, As you were asleep for 2 weeks already, In the first week, everything except this land was wiped out with a new form of enemies now rising, namely called Titans Or Giants."
"The wall is for the protection from those creatures?"
"Yes, you're right."
"I cannot stay here forever, and I don't really have any powers anymore like the mages and swordsmen, can you teach me how to fight a giant if I ever encounter one?"
"Ah, for that, we have a special class to attend to, each year, There's recruitment going on for that post of work, I'm the right hand of the 49th commander of the regiment"
"Is the registration still available?"
"Seems like so,maybe sign up quick or you might not get the chance to do so."
"I will do that tomorrow, In pretty sleepy now, where do I sleep?"
"Ah, well you dont have parents and a home anymore, and you haven't even joined the scouts for a bunker, Just come over at mine."
Upon reaching the house and Kuramoto's room, Kuramoto drops down to the bed and immediately falls asleep.
