ZOEY'S POV
I did all the work Roy assigned to me in silence, well the room was silent except for the noise made by our laptop keyboard keys when we tapped them hurriedly.
Besides me being different today and deciding to treat Roy like a boss, Roy too seemed to have done the same, not treat me like a boss but like an employee. He barely talked to me and when he had to, he needed me to do something for him. He too changed.
I looked up from my laptop after feeling muscle stiffness in my neck. I couldn't tell for how long I had been working. I looked at my wrist watch and it was three o'clock. I had been stuck here working nonstop for hours.
Just then my stomach grumbled and my eyes went wide in embarrassment. I hoped Roy didn't hear that, not that he cared anyway but that didn't mean it wasn't embarrassing.
