Liv yelled through the phone such that I had to get it away from my ears."What did you just say?" she yelled again.
I wasn't going to repeat what I said."Yeah, and he's the worst person you can ever meet."I told her.
"Now I want to meet him. When do you get off from work?" she asked and I frowned wondering why she was asking."Wait, don't answer that but answer this, which floor do you work on? R Tech is quite big." she asked excitedly.
"My boss asked me to work in his office. I'm telling you Liv, I'm like his PA, the work I do is about to break me and it is only my first week. Thank God today is the weekend."I complained to her.
"Hey, Zoey, talk to you later. I gotta go." she hung up and I frowned. Did she even hear what I told her?
I sighed putting my phone back in my pocket and I walked out of the washroom and went to Roy's office.
He was in and so when I got in, I went straight to the couch, where I was used to sitting but this time he didn't let me. He stopped me with a question while midway walking to the couch.
"Where were you?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes and then turned to look at him."In the washroom."I said watching out for any reaction but there was none. He was a robot, I was now convinced.
"What was it, you couldn't pee fast enough or was it that you were too constipated to poo fast?" he asked looking up from his phone and looking straight into my eyes.
How did he have that straight face on asking such things? I wanted to hide my face but then where would I hide it? How was I even supposed to reply to such a question?
"It's just other women's problems," I said looking at him.
"Do those problems perhaps make you moody?" he asked and I slightly frowned. Moody huh? He thought I was moody? I was furious instead.
"Yeah, they make me moody," I agreed with him nonetheless. I didn't want to have longer conversations with him explaining how I was mad and not moody.
He looked at me without saying anything and I wondered if I should go and sit since he seemed done talking nonsense. I walked to sit regardless and at that time, there was a knock on the door. That had to be Marcus but when the door opened, I could not believe it. What were my eyes seeing?
A beautiful young lady walked in swaying her hips her smile brightening her whole face. She had a skin-tight red dress on that reached her mid thighs and it hung her body like a koala, beautifully highlighting her figure. Her brown hair was styled into a ponytail that had slight curls and she had light makeup on her face but her lipstick was screaming bright red. Completing her looks with black heels on, she looked stunning.
It was her, that woman that day. I could not forget her name, she was Erin. I saw her with Roy that day after I slept with him. She was the woman he confused me with that night.
She walked straight to Roy and kissed him on the lips but Roy took a wipe and wiped off his lips afterwards. That made me frown, what was going on here? Weren't they like engaged?
