I am busy putting sunscreen on my skin when Zeus come over to me and sat beside me "Hey" Zues said smiling "Hey" I replied and continued what I was doing, it was a moment of silence between us, I can say that it is a bit awkward remembering that he confessed his feelings to me last week, I was shocked in that moment even until now, I didn't know that Zeus likes men, or maybe he swing both ways "Have you made a decision yet?" he asked looking at me with hope in his eyes "What?" I know what he meant by his question " About being my boyfriend" He replied, I can't bring myself to reject him because he is the most sweetest guy I know, but, I just don't swing that way.
"Zeus, I-" I was cut off when someone speak beside us "What's up guys?" we both look at Jeriza who just arrived and is now drying herself with her towel, Jeriza knows what's going on between me and Zeus as she is the only one who witnessed Zeus's confession, I looked at Zeus who is also looking at me "Nothing" I said before standing up "Let's get some drinks, the heat is making me thirsty" I added and pull Jeriza away from that place.
"So?, Did he confessed his feeling for you again?" Jeriza asked when we arrive at the open bar of this beach "No, he wants to know my answer, he wanted me to be with him" I saw the mischivious smile forming on Jeriza's lips "So what's your answer?" She asked curiously "I haven't given him my answer, I don't know how to answer without hurting him" I replied "Why don't you like him? he is handsome, kind, rich, he is every woman's dream" she said and ordered us some drinks "Like you said he is every WOMEN'S dream, and as you can see, I'm a man and I'm straight" I said emphasizing the word Women, she raised her eyebrow at me and gave me a disbelieving look "No one would believe you when you say you're straight" she said and she is right.
I am often mistaken for a woman because of my slender body, I am not as tall as other men, and most of everyone I know said that I have an innocent and feminine face, but I am straight even thought I still haven't found the girl I will like, I never had any interest in man.
"What is your secret to your beautiful complexion, what do you use to achieve that soft pearly skin?" Jeriza asked while pouting her lips that made me chuckle "Genes" I replied, I am the carbon copy of my mother who is know for being the most beautiful woman in her time "I wish I have a supermodel mom" She said before drinking
"Ow" I groaned when someone accidentally bumped me aggressively, we both look at each other and she just roll her eyes at me before she huddles with the other girls again, I peeked at who they were looking at and I saw a man sitting down and ignoring the women trying to talk to him, he is just busy scrolling through his phone, It's weird but the moment I set my eyes at him I felt like I know him "Who are you looking at?" Jeriza asked before she peeked at the man "You say you're straight but you're checking out that man" she said teasing me "I wasn't checking him out, I just got curious why so many people gathering there" I denied, I don't know why but my gaze was pulling towards him.
One moment I was sitting on my chair and the next is I was already standing in front of him because my good friend Jeriza pulled me and went towards him "Hi what's your name?" Jeriza asked but the man didn't even glance "My friend likes you" she added but still he didn't give us his attention and just continue ignoring us 'Rude' I thought to myself, I was taken a back when he looked straight to my eyes as if he heard my thought, his emotionless eyes slowly turns into shock while staring at me "Mother?"
