Briar looked over the hotel lobby with a sort of intrigue. She had never seen what the new age hotels seemed to be and, compared to the ones she was used to, they had only changed a little in her time away. Walter was beside her, trying to communicate what he needed to the man behind the front desk.
Her eyes took in the lobby before they stopped on the person behind them in line. He was a tall, brooding sort of man in a finely made black suit. His eyes were glaring down at her hard, but she didn't seem to mind as she turned back to watch the transaction between the two men.
It seems she missed most of the interaction since the front desk attendant was already handing over some key cards meant for the room doors. When Walter gave her one, she eyed it curiously before shoving it into one of her dress's pockets. She didn't expect to leave the hotel room anyway so she wasn't too worried about it.
