Chapter 1 - Water Bottle Cap Of Death

Greetings, I am Xmon, Daniel Xmon. Well, I must admit, it doesn't quite have the same ring as James Bond, but let's move on. Please, allow me to start over. Hello, I'm Daniel Xmon, but you can simply call me X. And just so you know, I won't always break the fourth wall when speaking. That's reserved for special occasions, like this and the synopsis. Now, let's get back to the matter at hand. I never imagined something like this would happen to me. However, before Daniel could continue, his thoughts were interrupted.

"My lord, news has spread throughout the new universe about your unimaginable power, and all the forces have joined together," Runt, second in command of Colonel Rage's 12th Corps, informed him.

"Argh, why must I be interrupted? I apologize, but it seems I won't be able to accompany you on this journey to the past. I have some pesky little insects to deal with. But don't worry, you'll catch up to me soon enough. Well, maybe not, considering I am all-powerful. Hahahaha," X called out to Runt.

"Yes, Lord X," Runt replied obediently.

"Tell Colonel Rage to prepare his troops for battle. Even our weakest corps should be more than capable of handling a universe," X said eagerly.

"Yes, Lord X," Runt responded with a hint of excitement. However, curiosity got the better of him, and he asked, "What about them?"

X turned around, a look of wonder on his face, and exclaimed, "Hey! Why are you still here? Go!"

X then turned back, his voice gradually lowering as he screamed, "Come at me, you insects!"

In the years leading up to the present day, Daniel Xmon found himself in a deep slumber at 11:58. Just the night before, he had celebrated his high school graduation with his classmates, eagerly anticipating his 18th birthday. However, his stepmother seemed particularly eager for this day, as it was part of her plan. As the clock ticked closer to midnight, Daniel's family anxiously waited outside his bedroom door. The moment the clock struck 12:00, they burst into his room, turning on the lights and joyfully celebrating his birthday. However, their happiness quickly turned to disappointment as they informed him that he had to leave. It wasn't even 12:05, yet Daniel found himself outside with his belongings packed and only $50 to his name, a small token of guilt from his father. With nowhere to go, he ended up staying at a rundown one-star hotel, which had become a dumping ground for garbage over time.

Daniel Xmon awoke with a heavy heart and a weary body, his hunger gnawing at him. "Why me?" he muttered, his voice filled with frustration. "I've always tried to do good, to make a difference in this world. And yet, here I am, living in this dump, on the verge of homelessness."

He glanced at the clock, realizing he had only thirteen minutes left in his room before he would be forced to leave. The irony of it all, being kicked out on the day before his birthday. "Just my luck," he grumbled. "I can't even afford a decent meal. I've gone days without eating, and I can't borrow any more money from my friends. Those crooks are threatening to turn me into their slave if I don't pay them back."

Daniel's anger grew, his frustration boiling over. "I've dedicated my life to helping others, to making a positive impact. And now, it feels like my luck has run out before I even had a chance to use it. Whoever is in charge of my fate, whether it be a god or goddess, I have one thing to say to them: f*** you."

As hunger gnawed at his stomach, Daniel searched desperately for something to eat. His eyes fell upon a lone bottle of water, his last source of sustenance. With trembling hands, he attempted to open it, but his weakened state made it impossible. Frustration consumed him as he resorted to using his teeth, only to have the cap become lodged in his throat, choking him.

In a panic, Daniel cried out for help, realizing that he was alone in his struggle. He pleaded with the higher powers he had cursed, begging for another chance, promising to change his ways. And in his darkest moment, he heard a response. A sigh, filled with indifference. "Uhhh," came the mysterious being's voice. Daniel's hope flickered, only to be extinguished as the being uttered its final words. "But not in this world. Bye."

Anger surged through Daniel, but amidst his frustration, a glimmer of acceptance emerged. "Well, perhaps wherever I'm going is better than this godforsaken place," he muttered bitterly. "Goodbye, you garbage dump of a world."
