I watched my best friend suffer in front of me.
I watched as the Gear she was wearing turned red from all the blood dripping from the many small wounds covering her body.
I listened to her screaming because of the pain. I listened until she couldn't scream anymore, not because the pain was gone but because she had lost her voice from enduring so much pain.
I couldn't even tell her to stop. I couldn't even tell her to let go. I couldn't even tell that it was enough. I just keep calling her name while I cry my heart out.
I watched her back while I was lying on the ground. I watched until she lost all of her strength and fell to the ground.
