"Do you want anything else to eat, my lady?" Bianca asked. She stood on the side of the bed where Joanna sat, with her back leaned against the pillows that were stacked against the headboard.
Staring down at a medium bowl of wheat porridge mixed with vegetables, a few pieces of braised meat, a small glass of milk, and a few slices of apple that was set on the bed tray table before her, Joanna shook her head as she thought that those were more than enough to have for dinner, particularly for a patient like her.
"It is enough, Bianca. Thank you," Joanna replied with a kind smile.
Taking a seat on a chair that was positioned near the bed, Bianca accompanied Joanna to have her dinner.
