Chapter 6 - ninjutsu.

With everything explained, Kaito and Naruto began another wave of training.

This time, Kaito was learning separately from Naruto. Naruto was learning Fuuton from Kaito's father, Haruki, while Kaito was learning Suiton from his mother, Hana.

By Kaito's decision, he left Wind style for later because he wanted to train Wind style together with Naruto. His mother agreed and said she would teach both of them at the same time. With their clan lineage, learning both Fuuton and Suiton would be easy as they had more natural aptitude.

So, his mother began teaching them Rank E jutsus.

She started by teaching the Water Shuriken technique, as the name suggests, creating a water shuriken to throw at enemies. It was a straightforward technique that required hand signs to use.

"Son, to use this technique, you just need to manipulate the water to take the form of a shuriken," Hana said and then demonstrated it practically to Kaito.

Kaito paid close attention and quickly realized it was quite easy to learn. Following her example, he successfully executed the technique on his first attempt.

With a water shuriken in his hand, Kaito threw it at a test dummy in the yard, hitting it in the chest. Up close, Kaito saw a somewhat deep mark. It wasn't very strong, but it was useful.

Next, his mother taught him many other jutsu that Kaito quickly picked up, such as the Water Bullet technique. Using the tiger hand sign, Kaito spat a water bullet toward a straw dummy, which was punctured in turn.

His mother didn't stop there and also taught him another jutsu, this time a Rank D jutsu called the Water Clone technique. She passed on the basic hand sign to Kaito, who quickly memorized and executed it. With a poof, a water clone appeared beside Kaito. Thanks to his natural talent and control, learning all these jutsu was easy.

After teaching these techniques, his mother decided to stop and encouraged Kaito to practice the ones he had already learned. Once he had better mastery of them, she would teach more water style techniques.

With that, Kaito began using his newly acquired ninjutsu to gain experience with them. As a result, the night quickly passed, and training for the day came to an end.

Some time earlier,

Haruki was teaching Naruto the Rank E ninjutsu, but Naruto's learning progress was slow, even though he was working on his chakra control. Haruki came up with the brilliant idea of having Naruto create more clones to train alongside him.

After that, Naruto started picking up the jutsu more quickly. First, he learned the Wind Pressure jutsu, where the user released a blast of wind that could deflect objects or push away an opponent, depending on the chakra output. In Naruto's hands, it turned into a powerful gust of wind, which Haruki managed to counter with his own controlled wind blast.

Of course, this didn't go unnoticed by Kaito and Hana, who were training a bit farther away. However, as they were also focused on their training, they ignored it for the time being.

Haruki then taught Naruto another jutsu, the Wind Blade technique, which would be quite deadly if Naruto had better chakra control. With that, Haruki also concluded teaching Naruto new jutsu and asked him to practice and learn to use them correctly.

Another day of training came to an end.

But two days passed, and the weekend was over, while Kaito and Naruto continued their training routine, which had now intensified due to the ninjutsu.

The Ninja Academy resumed, and today was the day for the Genin formation.

Ninja Academy.

In the classroom, all the students were paying attention to the teacher Iruka-sensei, and next to him was a blue-haired teacher, Mizuki.

Kaito easily recognized him, but he didn't pay much attention, as he doubted that the same events from the original story would unfold due to his interference with Naruto.

The teacher began explaining how the admission test would work.

"To pass the test, you need to execute the Transformation jutsu perfectly. We will evaluate and determine if you pass or not. Let's begin," the teacher said, and he started calling out the names of various students.

Sakura, Sasuke, Ino, Shikamaru, Kiba, Hinata, and others. They all passed the test with great skill. The next one to be called was Naruto.

Naruto stepped in front of the teacher and transformed into Iruka flawlessly.

Without expecting Naruto to transform so quickly and perfectly, Iruka was surprised, as were everyone else in the class.

'So, he really did it. It seems they were serious when they talked about training. Who would've thought the useless Naruto would be able to use the Transformation jutsu?' Sakura thought as she looked at Naruto with surprise.

Sasuke just said "Hmm" and turned away, while Shikamaru and the others were even more astonished. The only one who was delighted by this was Hinata, who was looking at Naruto and blushing.

After this, Naruto returned to his seat, and the next to be called was Kaito, who completed his Transformation jutsu flawlessly.

Following this, everyone received their headbands. The person most excited about this was Naruto, who kept talking to Kaito several times, jumping around and saying that he had become a ninja, and his dream of becoming Hokage was closer now.

While the two were talking, some people approached them, including Sakura, Hinata, Ino, Shikamaru, Kiba, and their group.

They all congratulated Naruto for passing, as he was the one with the least chance of passing, and yet he succeeded.

With the whole class chatting, Kaito felt excited because this was a scene he had only watched on a screen before, and now he was part of it.

Without any concerns, Kaito spoke with everyone, played, and had fun. Eventually, the time passed, and the people started dispersing. However, Sakura and Ino stayed behind.

Sakura thanked Kaito for his advice the other day. She had visited the hospital and had started learning the basics there, which she really enjoyed.

Ino stayed to accompany Sakura, or at least that's what she claimed. However, Kaito noticed several times that Ino was looking at him.

'I might be mistaken, but I think she's feeling some attraction toward me. I haven't talked much with her, but after my grades improved and I gained some attention in class, I noticed she started noticing me, and today, she even stayed behind under the pretext of accompanying Sakura.' Kaito thought as he looked back at her and initiated a conversation.

However, Kaito decided to ignore this, not because he didn't want or like Ino, but because he didn't think it was the right time. He hadn't even started getting strong enough to defend himself yet.

Then, the conversation ended, and all four of them went home to their respective houses. Naruto spent most of his time at Kaito's house, so it was almost like a second home for him.
