After what he said, I realized that he was the one who attacked our school, seems like their target was the principal.
"My name is Premo! And I am here to collect debt from my old friend here." He yelled.
"It's them." I still couldn't find Luis.
I move outside, to get a little closer from the attacker. Finally I got to see the enemy. He was flying.
'Judging from his aura, he is a strong one.' I mumbled.
He was flying with his steel feathered wings on his back, seems like he's on spirit dive mode. His half burned face makes him looks more scarier, combined with his giant two feet claw. In his right hand, he was holding the principal on its neck.
"Shit?" My eyes filled with horror when I saw in his left hand holding the severed head of professor Maxin. I could feel my heart beating fast. I'm freezing with fear, a terror I could feel down to my spine.
I'm hearing students screaming for help, but I couldn't do anything. 'Fool, no one will save you here.' I whispered to myself. 'We might as well die here.' I tried to stand up to continue find Luis when I hear someone, or rather him.
"Agggghh… you dare to kill my professor… you dare to destroy my school… you dare to hurt my friends and kill students… we are trying to live peacefully… All this killing, what did we do to you? What would you get from this?" He picked up some steel pipe and pointed it towards the enemy. "Nothing! I will FUCKING KILL YOU!" Despite being torn apart and badly injured. Blood running down on his face, his left hand was broken. He was clearly suffering, he can't event stand properly yet he ignored those pain as he stands up to fight an impossible opponent, but no… I don't see any fear from his eyes, he was brave enough stand infront of his death.
'Luis?!' I look into his eyes. It was a gaze of a fearless warrior.
I tried to call him to get his attention on me "Luis! What are you doing?" I fall on my knees, as my mana was not yet filled.
"HAHAHAHA!!" The enemy cackling as he laughed. "Idiot, do you know what happened when a bug fly through cobweb? It means… death." He summoned a steel wings and started to shoot Luis to death.
Then suddenly a number of seven to nine steel feathers pierced to Luis body, not long enough Luis falls to the ground before he knows it. As he falls to the ground, I could sense his pulse slowly fading.
My body begins to tremble not because of fear, but because I felt raging all over my veins. My vision started to blur, my mind clouded by rage as my heartbeat run faster.
As my friends dying in front of me, I have nothing in mind but to save my friends and get revenge. So I slowly stands up and begun to walk near to Luis not realizing that I was releasing a magic mana and that my animal spirit is flowing all over my body.
"Oh? Hahaha what a turn of event?" The man named Premo started to notice me. "As I remember this school does not include kids with animal spirits, however this kid manifested his animal spirit?" Then he throws the severed head of professor Maxin as a sign of irritation.
"Hey kid? How old are you?" He ask.
I didn't pay attention on him and silently continued to walk towards the unconscious body of my friend. I ignore him as he starts questioning me. Until he became upset.
"You filthy little rat!" He starts throwing attacks on me with his feathers. "How dare you to ignore me?"
However because of my animal spirits is manifesting, a thick layer of magic mana covered my whole body as I move, it protects me from his countless attacks. This pissed him more. And when I finally get close to my friend.
"Getting cocky huh?" He finally cuts off the principal's head with his wings, he purposely kill him to see if I will react. "Oh… still ignoring me?"
I didn't care about the principal at all, my focus was Luis. Then I pick him up from the ground and carried him. Before I left, I gazed upon him giving a killing intent towards him. A warning that I will be back for my revenge.
I speak. "Stay here." And as fast as wind, I disappeared from his eyessight. I leave Luis with Mika on the ground, somewhere safety.
When I returned, Premo started yelling, he's more upset this time. "Don't get cocky kid!?" His gnashing teeth a sign of frustration.
"Enough of this! I will kill you brat!" He starts rushing towards me, as he began his move, flying faster towards my direction while shooting a countless feathers. All his attacks was deflected by my mana shield, so he rush closely and starts throwing punch.
"Spirit Dive!" I activated my Spirit dive, this no longer gives me a mana shield, but I can finally fight him. However I knew this will be difficult.
Before his punch reach me, I activated my animal spirits enabling me to catch it. I stared at him for a second before grabbing his arm to throw him.
Yet using his wings he avoided a damage from my throw. "A fox?" He questioned, "A fox spirit dive… HAHA truly an impressive kid!" Then he again start throwing punches from left to right nonstop.
I was having a hard time blocking his attacks, but now he started casting some powerful attacks with his wings. A wind like blade, made of his magic. It strikes cutting anything it touches. One mistake it could cut my life in an instant.
'I only have fifteen seconds in spirit dive mode.' This will be difficult.
With my spirit dive mode my appearance changes. Some part of my hair turn in flame orange, the white on my eyes changes to black and my red iris turned gold a fox tail grows on my back aswell and another two fox ear above my head, but not only that it enhances my sense and magic control thus I also gain tremendous strength, speed, durability and reflexes.
"How long you can keep that form?" After multiple attack he fly back. "You can't block all my attacks, look at you, your bathing on you own blood." He stated.
It's true I gain strength, but not enough to fight him equally. If I can't win, then I will just fight to survive until a rescue arrives.
'I don't have time for chitchat birdie' I haven't perfect this spell yet, but it will help me. With my magic control I gathered magical energy in my right hand while hold my wrist with my left hand. A powerful magic like void formed on in the center of my palm as it gets little bigger and bigger the more I gathered magical energy.
Then without warning I throw it to him, before it even reach him it explodes erasing anything it covers, as if it reduces to atom. I called it "Explosive Void."
However, just as I thought I got him, he just flew off and dodge it. It was a strong spell but not faster.
"That's it?" He teased. "For a young kid to perform such attacks, you're pretty impressive, perhaps I'll show you something before you die."
"Tsk." I click my tongue and start running around.
"Do you really think I will let a single soul here to survive?" He said. "I will kill everyone, EVERYONE!"
Then he again started his attack with a feathers and controlled it at his will; as he follows me, I can't block it with my magic mana anymore because it will cause me much mana.
His flying faster and faster, so while running I again performed explosive void to attack him, but he just dodged them like nothing.
To resolve my situation, I stop running and started a hand to hand combat with him. I begin to attack as well approaching him with barehand.
'I need to fight him, find a perfect chance so at least I can utilize my spirit dive.' With condensed magic mana I throw powerful left hook at him, wind splashes as I punch, but he just block it with steel wings.
"Is that all you got?" He ask. "Come on, intertain me more!!" A pair of dagger made of his steel wings appeared in his both hand.
"Let's dance kid!" Then he cruelly smiled at me and starts attacking.
I condensed my magic mana with my both hand to match his daggers, but it was sharp enough to cut through my magic mana. So I utilized my speed and starts running on his blind spot, but it was useless. He gets faster and faster. I was trying to defend myself from his direct attack with his dagger, his annoying wings helps him to blocks my surprise attack and with all flying steel feathers that attacking me from any direction. I can't help but sustain countless damage all over my body.
He suddenly stops at the exact time when my spirit dive finally runs out. I fall my knees on the ground as my magic was depleted. I can no longer move my body. I could only catch my breath as my revenge was failed.
"Whoosssh, you got some talent kid. Such waste I have to kill you." Stating as he descend. "You know, it's easy to kill a cub before they became a lion."
Then when he finally got chances.
"Got you!" His confidence smile fears me. He grabbed my body with his big claw and fly up to the sky.
"Let's fly kid! HAHA, do you want to know my Animal Spirit?" Within a second we reach the clouds. I can't even move my body to free myself from his claw.
"Do you know a bird who fed on the dead one?" He looks at me and starts a devilish smiles.
"It's called Vulture! Yes… That's my animal spirit!" He throws me higher than him, I couldn't control myself in the air as the force was so strong.
Suddenly he flies right in front of me and throw a powerful and heavy punch on my stomach. A painful attack that left me breathless for a seconds, without mercy he followed it with round kick at my neck losing me consciousness.
I couldn't do anything, I'm falling down to the ground faster than we fly up. I felt so helpless, not a single part of my body could move. He was so powerful.
'Such a horrible way to die.' I whispered as I close my eyes.
