A car stop at the school and both girls got down.The entrance of the school kept staring at the car and even though only rich kids attend school not even one of them had seen that car before and the model showed how expensive it.
"Christabel look out,now you see why I wanted to come to school alone.I don't want any attention and am cool with people thinking I don't existing in the school"
"Don't worry am here for you and I will protect ma'am.Christabel smile at her trying to cheer her up.
"Can I be alittle abusive,the next time you call me ma'am you're fired"Abigail let out a serious face and pointing at her.
"Yes ma'am…sorry Abigail"She raised her hand in surrender.
Mathew open the door for Abigail from the left and Christabel also got out of the passenger seat.
"Let go, I don't like it when they stare like God is descending from the heavens"
"Abigail there you are,I was looking for you.Wait what going there why y'all standing there?"
"Nothing..Phoebe let go we will be late for class.
"Wait who is this?"Phoebe looked at her head to toe.
She is beautiful,but who is she I have never seen her in the school and I know almost the whole school blocks student. Phoebe thought about waiting for Abigail to give her an answer.
"Am Christabel but you can call me bel"
"Okay and why is she with you? Is not that she was rude but really consider for Abigail and thought it was one of Flora's plan to send her this time.
"It along story but don't worry she is a friend okay,now let go before we get late for class please"
"Okay,but you have to tell where and how she is a friend.I will I promise."
Lucky when they got to the class the teacher wasn't there. Three took a seat on the four row that were both girls sat and now Christabel was add.
"Good morning class, we have a new student.Christabel please come down. Mr Kee said. Introduce yourself!
"Hi am Christabel and nice to meet y'all"
"Mr Kee, which university is she transferred from? A student from the back asked. Abigail gave him a dead glance at before looking at Christabel.
"Christabel tell where you transfe....
Mr Kee Immediately shut his mouth when his eyes met hers. Um….you can take your seat Christabel. Thanks "
She sat down and Abigail whispered to her "that was close"
Mr Kee has been taking for almost an hour the class was silent and only the moving air in class room was heard. Some people seem to enjoy the class whiles other were not even listening.
"Miss Givon… miss Givon… Abigail!" MR Kee shouted finally grabbing her attention.
I…um..sorry Mr Kee, I was no….
Do you mind telling the whole class what I said. He said not letting her finish her sentence.
"Um…you said we..need to thi..think about thing inspirations, no no you said that we think..about thing that inspired. Sorry sir I wasn't paying attention". Abigail gave up the idea. She tried hard to remember what he was saying but seem that not what nature wanted.
"I realized that why I call you name,now pay attention" Mr Kee scolded her then continue to teach.
"Hey are you okay, you have been act weird since morning. I even tapped you about three times before Mr Kee called your name and you didn't react". Even Phoebe had noticed but she didn't want to confront her since they were I class.
"Am fine,I was just not listening" Abigail smile in return.
"If you say so" Phoebe stared at her one time before looking down on her book,she didn't argue with her because Mr Kee was teaching, but she know something was up. Even when her father scolds her she doesn't have this look on.
(An hour later)
The class had ended and the facial expression didn't change lesser or greater.
"Now tell me what wrong and Christabel and what happened out side this morning, talk to me, you know I don't like it when you have that face on and today is even worse". Phoebe said in one gulp.
"Okay but let go to the cafeteria first okay"
The three girls walked to the cafeteria. And Christabel didn't really care since she was on her ,Abigail was busy been sad that only Phoebe noticed that the whole hall way was whispering and point at them. Why is everyone look at us?
Abigail and Christabel finally raised they heads at the direction Phoebe was pointing.
"I don't know and I don't care let go" Abigail said then walked away. Both girls run after her.
They got to the cafeteria and they all sat down.
"Babe talk to me, you are get me worried" Phoebe held her hands looking into her eyes but he didn't respond.
"I think I know why"Christabel said dragging Phoebe's attention to her.
Why?
Christabel signaled Phoebe to bring her ear closer and whispered into her ears.
"Awwwn…..babe don't be sad and I think you guys can solve it okay, please I can't watch that face anymore" Phoebe patted her back which seem to help because she raised her head and smiled.
"And where is Christabel from? Phoebe chuckled know that Abigail thought that she had forgotten about it".
"Really girl, you still want to know? Abigail raised one eyebrow to her and Phoebe nodded.
" Fine,Natty said she will guard me so don't worry okay….and why wer...because he made me come to school with a Rolls-Royce Boat tail,why won't people stare at me. Now do you understand.
Abigail didn't let Phoebe finish since she knew what she was going to say.
"Okay am starving let eat" Abigail said then then they all started eating.
(After School)
Mathew came to pick up the two girls up.
"Mathew can we go to the mall I want to buy something"
"Yes ma'am,Mathew turned around to the direction of mall"
"Why do you guys keep calling me ma'am, Mathew you are old than me! Fine do as you please".
