Chapter 30 - Sky Bridges' Lord Diabolical Plan

As soon as the Kinetic Supercharging Sword appeared in Maxmillan's hands, the Sky Bridges Lord and an old man who was an Astra Spellcraft Commander, couldn't help but develop totally shocked expressions in their faces when the sword appeared in Maxmillan's hands.

What sort of unearthly massive sword is this?'

This was the question that constantly pealed like thunder in their minds, as the sword was grandly exotic in appearance and seemed incomparably sharp, since it easily sliced apart the magically-enchanted chest armors that the towering men wore and immediately cut them into halves that caused blood to erupt like fountains into the air from their cleanly divided bodies.

Also, the thick shields that some of them were equipped with and could skillfully use to block attacks, were instantly cut in halves once they made contact with the sword that seemingly ignored magical protection enchantments, which then moved further like it didn't come across any obstacle to cut the bearers of the shield into halves too.

Maxmillan who didn't know that he was been watched through large magical orbs by the Sky Bridges Lord and a sinister old man who gazed with extreme viciousness at him with the flame of fury and rage burning fiercely within his heart, skillfully wielded the large technological broadsword in both hands and continued to cut, gash and slash at the adversarially confrontative gathering in front of him until none of them, which were the shield-bearers and sword-wielding outlawed users of Astra Mystralis were remaining.

At the moment, he looked like a savage wargod that loved spilling the bloods of people wherever he went, as he was covered entirely in blood.

The way he looked with blood on him, was fully comparable to emerging from a pool of bright red blood that he deeply immersed himself in, or to being completely drenched in a heavy torrential rain of blood that lasted for days. He simply looked terrifying that anyone that saw him would think he was a mass-slaughtering, exceedingly belligerent, malevolent bloodgod.

So, other than the heavy spills of blood on the ground that still oozed and gushed out from people that had their bodies cleanly separated by the sword that could effortlessly cut two to three people in an instant, bloodied innards of people could be seen entirely littering the ground of the valley, invoking a really dreadful and ghastly scene for even the Sky Bridges Lord and the old man that watched Maxmillan through the magical crystal orbs in their secret underground rooms.

But surprisingly, the Kinetic Supercharging Sword Maxmillan used to pierce, incise and lacerate the small army that flanked him on all sides, wasn't stained with blood. It was like it was surrounded by an invisible forcefield that prevented the sword from having blood stains on its surface.

Once Maxmillan fully eliminated the small army that emerged from the cage with his cutting, gashing and slashing actions using the large sword in his hand, he looked towards the cave with a savage beastly light emitting from his eyes as he prepared to enter.

"Mother, I am coming to rescue you." Maxmillan said with unwavering resolve in his heart.

Immediately he entered the cave, he noticed that the whole place was eerily quiet.

'Why is this place so quiet?' Maxmillan asked within himself as looked around him with a little bit of wariness in his heart.

'Where have the rest of the outlaws in this place gone to? Or was it them that made up the small army that I slayed outside?' Maxmillan asked further within himself as he looked around in the large and deep cave that had numerous interconnected routes that led to other larger caves.

As Maxmillan walked deeper and deeper into the cave with shining eyes that gleamed with viciousness, he came across some well-hidden men dressed in black who suddenly sprung out from where they concealed themselves to either cut, impale or stab him with swords, spears and daggers equipped in their hands.

But Maxmillan had peak-human hearing ability and could therefore evade the heavy cutting and impaling strikes unleashed at him with the magically enchanted, sharp-edged instruments that they all wielded.

After killing and killing as he made his way to the far depth of the cave, with the death counts reaching sixty in number, Maxmillan finally arrived at a place that numerous large cages that had numerous people incarcerated in them could be seen.

Immediately Maxmillan came across the exceedingly long rows of enormous cages, his heart rate doubled before screaming out at his highest, 'Mom, where are you?"

However, he didn't get the response he was expecting and a sombre look immediately appeared in his face. Then he shouted again at his highest, "Mom, your beloved Maxie is here!"

Still, there was no response, which made the sombre and cheerless expression in Maxmillan's face greatly intensify.

'I hope she is fine.' Maxmillan said within himself, as he became excessively worried that the Sky Bridges Lord whom he made eye contact with when he finished chasing off the Magiwolves with the long-range flamethrower, could have done something really bad and terrible to his mother out of anger, essentially because of the chaos and destruction that he wreaked in an unbridled manner at his base of operation. But he seriously hoped not.

As Maxmillan walked further into the cave, he came across some Magiwolves which he immediately killed by blasting their heads off to countless pieces with the pump-action shotgun that he had summoned to his hands once again.

So, equipped with a gun and a sword that he skillfully used to exterminate the Magiwolves and magic-casting enemies that loomed around him, Maxmillan marched with unstoppable force into the different interconnected deep caves that he came across in his path.

"Is this how our base would go down?" An old man that had appeared before the Sky Bridges Lord, asked with a terrifying expression in his face.

Haha! The Sky Bridges Lord laughed out.

"Yes." He said without mincing swords.

He then said further with an inexplicable glow emitting from his eyes, "I have a plan for the body of that kid. With my lord-tier spellweaving skills, I will snuff out his soul and take possession of his body."

"Something about that kid's body tells me it is filled with enormous physical power, which will become mine once I take over his body. And as for those terrifying non-magical weapons that he possesses, they will also become mine."

"Besides, I feel like the kid is seriously holding back. There would be weapons that he possesses which are definitely much more powerful than the ones he is currently using, probably to summon them later and use in a surprising attack against me. Haha."

"So, once I have gained full possession of his body, I will start from the scratch all over again with a new power that will cause the world to be shocked. And maybe this time, with his body, I could become a peak-tier Astra Spellcraft Lord, instead of the low-tier Lord stage that I have been stuck in for eons of years now. Hahahaha!..."
