Emma and Daniel flanked in each other's arms, stared at each other incredulously dripping wet from the water still running from the shower.
If they weren't mistaken they just heard Gabriel, Emma's father's voice.
"But what is he doing here?!" Emma asked in a hushed whisper, her eyes wide as she stared at the bathroom door over Daniel's shoulder.
She had no clue how her father knew about her location but she was praying he wouldn't barge through the door and see her in such a compromising position with the man she vowed not to have anything to do with again.
It would break the poor man's heart!
Daniel on the other hand cursed under his breath. He had asked Lucas to buy him some time to find a way to wake Emma up, but he never expected Emma to kiss him after she woke up making him lose all sense of time and reason as he indulged in his long-awaited desire of being in her embrace.
'That damned Lucas! He had just one job! One job!'
