Lucas was perspiring seriously as he drove around CH city. He was currently driving Gabriel to his boss's house but his boss had specifically asked to buy him some time which meant he had to delay Gabriel as much as possible before he could take him to his boss's house.
But that was beginning to get harder with each passing minute because Gabriel was beginning to catch on.
"Um, Lucas? Are you sure we haven't passed through this route before?" Gabriel asked as he looked at the passing scenery outside the car window.
Lucas' hands tightened around the steering wheel nervously and he gulped.
'Of course, they've gone by this route before! In fact, it was their third time!' He thought before he cleared his throat and smiled sheepishly.
"N..No sir. We haven't passed by here, w..why do you ask?" He asked tentatively waiting for Gabriel's response.
Gabriel frowned while he stared at a particular billboard beside the traffic light.
