Ash turned around to see Emma standing still, her eyes closed as if lost in thought and with a tense grip on her suitcase handle. Concern flickered across his features as he approached her and stared at her inquisitively.
"Is everything okay, E?" He asked gently, in concern.
E was a nickname he gave to her when they both prepared to leave Diamond Dynasty, as they both got closer.
He assisted her in getting some work done so she could be available for the meeting with his partner and that was when he felt like they had a more intimate connection because they seemed to talk about everything and anything within those few hours of spending time together.
However, as Ash stared at Emma, he couldn't quite place the sudden shift in her demeanor, but the raw vulnerability in her eyes sent a jolt through him.
