The officer gripped Jimin's wrist to handcuff his hands but Jimin instantly jerked off his hand.
"The lady of the house told me to break the safe as she forgot the numbers to open it" his voice was calm but his heart was racing.
Jimin's heart was beating rapidly, he didn't want to go to prison at such a young age and most importantly he didn't even steal anything from there.
"WHO TOLD YOU THAT!!! SIR, HE IS LYING!!" Women in her sixties came from behind the cops pushing them away. The woman had grey hair and she wore a long boring gown with a cardigan on top. She looked furious.
The happy, cozy aura of the shop was now a tense suffocating energy. The air became thin. Till now the customers present in the shop have gathered around in a circle along Marie and Louise. They looked scared
"I am not lying! her name was Natalya and she told me to break open the safe to take out her jewelry to wear at a party" Jimin ranted.

and reality hit him, The owner of Shotover Grange was an old couple, He read that information in the article. How the fuck he made such a big mistake? because he was tricked by her beauty? He felt like the rug swept out from under his feet. he felt betrayed. he felt cheated. She wasn't Natalya Laurant, She was another burglar like him. She wasn't who he thought she was.
She was a traitor.
She tricked him for jewels? She was a thief? She was a criminal?
Jimin was so occupied by his thoughts that he didn't realize that the policemen had handcuffed him already and started to drag him. Jimin didn't even blink, flashbacks of that day running through his mind.

The police took Jimin with them leaving behind a crying Marie and Louise consoling her.
