Qiao Dongyang was already waiting for her in the room.
Two tall stools were pushed together in front of the bed, making the simplest makeshift table.
Unfortunately, there were no more stools available.
Chi Yue glanced at Qiao Dongyang, who was sitting properly on the edge of the bed, slowly walked over, sat beside him, and bit open the bottle cap to pour the alcohol into a bowl.
"Go on."
Qiao Dongyang watched her bold move with surprise, "Are your teeth still okay?"
Chi Yue deadpanned, "I could eat a few more big kids like you with no problem."
Qiao Dongyang: "..."
There was no bottle opener, and the drinking vessels were large, coarse bowls; the accompanying snacks were stir-fried eggs and pan-fried peanuts.
This was the most rudimentary drinking setup Qiao Dongyang had ever seen.
Sensing his lack of action, Chi Yue picked up her bowl, "Come on, let's clink."
