One could instantly tell from the tone that she was an old customer.
The landlady smiled as she greeted Yan Zao, passing by the table Lan Mu was sitting at without turning her head to look even once.
Lan Mu frowned; was he invisible?
This big guy was sitting right here; couldn't she, as the owner of the restaurant, at least say hello?
The landlady, looking at Yan Zao with a sincere greeting, "It's been years since I've seen you, you've become even more beautiful."
"Thank you." Yan Zao graciously thanked her and then placed her order, "I'll have a serving of mini wontons and dumplings for three yuan."
She had always eaten this amount, and the landlady remembered it well, jokingly saying, "You've grown up and you're still eating the same amount?"
With that, she walked towards the kitchen entrance.
"My appetite hasn't changed."
Yan Zao responded to the landlady and returned to her seat to sit down.
