The smile was pure.
Xia Daqin smiled and nodded, "Miss Wen must have been busy being a bridesmaid today."
As she spoke, she kept staring at Wen Jing, scrutinizing her closely.
Wen Jing hadn't noticed much, smiled, and nodded, "Yes, I'm exhausted."
Then she looked at Zhou Sicheng, "Give me my bag, I need my phone to call Qi Dong and ask if he is coming for dinner."
Zhou Sicheng was about to hand the bag to Wen Jing, but when he heard her mention calling Qi Dong, he paused.
Xia Daqin noticed Zhou Sicheng's hesitation, and with a tone mixed with a warning, reminded him, "Aren't you going to give Miss Wen her bag?"
Before her words were finished, Wen Jing directly reached out and snatched the bag away.
The rehearsal wasn't over yet, and she had to rush back, so as soon as she got her bag she immediately bid farewell to Xia Daqin, "Have fun auntie, I still have things to do on my end."
Her gaze didn't linger on Zhou Sicheng, not even a single glance.
