War has gone south for the Albalian Empire, as it suffers hundreds of deaths with each passing day. The current emperor of the time, Gurrel Albali, persists in his declarations of winning, attempting to flame his people's hearts with delusional deception.
Every citizen from all 4 major districts could tell that the imperial administration was on the brink of collapse, its inevitability of the end clear to even the people of the other states. The Valhalla and Frostbite companies have voiced their concerns and planned to remove the Albali Company from its imperial status, immobilizing any push in the war.
In a desperate attempt to remain in power, Gurrel ordered his company to create weapons that could decimate the enemies near the empire's borders. He would also smuggle many illegal resources such as mana stones and mana wires, materials that are known to be heavily unstable, in order to create these destructive weapons. For the next few years, production of weapons and deterrents were made, and miraculously, both the profits and prosperity of the company hit new highs since the last century.
The greatest invention of the time was an extremely heavy core, its innards filled with highly compressed fire stones, covered by pure steel and gilded with a special substance that will trigger the weapon's fuse. Its creator, Otmar Waldemar, named the superweapon the Newton Core, related to its unmatched power from other explosives.
These cores of war were launched to many border towns of the Lion kingdom and the Great States, clearing any coming forces. Unfortunately, since the manufacturing process was immensely slow, newton cores were only used for urgent defense. It is rumored that they are stored within the confines of each company's military headquarters.
The Newton Core was a major revolution in the weapons industry, rivaling even the Valhalla Company. Its power and ingenuity was far ahead of its time. However, only the Albalian empire has hold of these weapons, protecting both its use and way of creating it, fearing any other state from using them.
Now, the present emperor, Leyn Albali, has signed an order demanding every company to give up their newton cores to the imperial administration. This has sparked outrage to each company, fueling their distrust towards the emperor. Yet, somehow, this order was successful, and no future public outcry was made over it.
