He's staring at the window but as soon as he hears someone enter, he slowly turns and asks Serlina.
"Do you remember anything from last week's event?"
"No, brother"
A grin smile appears on his face as he says,
"There's nothing to worry about then, You can have all your memories erased but I want you to do something."
With a worried face, she asked.
"What it is?"
"You should know that some of our shops are not doing well, and some of them already filed for bankruptcy. To revive and survive our business, we need to merge ours with the Harion, one of the most powerful nobles here in Britannia. You have to marry Aizen Harion."
"Why don't we try to revive it first ourselves?"
Dark aura immense in the background.
"Do you think I haven't tried all of it? Do you think I'm just sitting here without doing anything?".
His expression is scary, her hand is starting to tremble.
"It- It's not that, maybe I can help.." Nervous answered.
He's starting to get mad.
"I have been the head of this family since our father left, I'm only doing this for our sake!"
He throws the glass on the floor.
I feel that my throat is having a lump that it's hard to speak, I feel like I want to cry but I can't. I should be strong.
"It's not that I'm belittling your efforts, I just want to help. If it didn't work out then I'll follow what you'll say. I'm hoping you will let me."
As he raises his head with a serious grin on his face.
"If you insist then I will let you. I'll let you handle some of our stores, but if you fail even if you cry, I'll drag you out of this house to ship you to Harion's. I'll give you one month."
After biting her lips Serlina replies with a hand gripped on her skirt.
"That is impossible for a month! Make it at least 5 months for the progress"
"2 months is the maximum, don't test my patience if you don't want to experience again what you've already forgotten. You may leave now."
"But..--"
The maid escorts her back to her room.
What can a woman do? She didn't even attend the prestigious school like me. A woman can only be used for connections and to bear a child for the family, that's what father said. Well, as long as we made a deal, then no worries since she agrees.

2 months? If that's my limit I should start working right now. I still didn't know what was happening to my surroundings and yet I made a big deal.

She called for the maid using the bell and they arrived.
"What is it, my lady?"
"Sorry for asking this but may I know your name?"
"I'm Larissa and this is Maria. We're the ones who've been accompanying you since you were 18."
"I'm sorry, I don't remember anything."
"You don't have to, My lady. Is there something you want us to do?" Maria replied.
"Since my brother allowed me to handle our business I want to see the book of records and information."
"We'll get it for you right away," Larissa said.
She is shocked by all of the records and information that she requested.
I didn't know this would be a lot, I miss my computer.
Why does it have to be manual?!
5 hours passed by she still hadn't finished reading all of the records but she had a conclusion.
The reason for the lack of sales is mostly because of the manufacturing of the items, most of them are being sent back because it's not the same in the showroom. In short, it's cheap quality and clickbait in the modern day. Some shops also lack promotion of the items, when it comes to location it's not known or established. I should at least visit some of it to see with my own eyes.
She called for the maid to accompany them to the shops.

When she arrives at the first shop, she couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the first shop.
The decoration is outdated unlike the other shops that she sees and the staffs are not even friendly and slacking.
