Chapter 27 - Bullies

Over half an hour later, the family of three–Grace, Victoria and Arthur–and Evie, the lovely maid, were sitting around the dining room as they ate their breakfast and occasionally chatted with one another.

Evie was squirming in her seat as she uneasily nibbled on her food. The reason for her unease was the fact that she was sitting on the dining table with her masters. This was something that was not allowed since master's and servant's statues were too far apart and thus, it would be humiliating for masters to eat alongside their servants.

However, because Arthur ordered her to sit with them when they started eating, and Grace and Vic didn't object, she had no choice but to obey. But she still felt uncomfortable.

Seeing this, Grace sighed, "Little Ev, there is no need for you to feel so uncomfortable. You are a part of our family. The only reason I didn't ask you to eat with us before was because I knew you would feel this way."
