"It's nothing, someone from Utopia just came by and asked me a few questions before leaving. It was quite baffling. They seem to be looking for someone." Li Chengyi did not elaborate.
"Looking for whom?"
"The complete entity that wiped out Ash Company before."
"Him? It seems Utopia, perhaps, wants to seek revenge. Tell your friend to be careful."
"Got it," Li Chengyi responded, "I'll let the boss know, so I won't call directly."
After hanging up the phone, he sat in his seat, glanced at the note, and chose not to share it with the company, instead pocketing it.
Getting up, he scanned to pay and pushed back his chair, when suddenly his body tensed.
The surrounding noise had quieted down at some unknown point.
The bustling crowd that was there just a few minutes ago had now completely vanished.
On the street, all of the stores and tables were empty, with not a single person in sight.
Click.
A streetlight in the distance went out.
