"When a woman displays her feelings so obviously, it's absurd for the man to say he doesn't know. And given that he does know, has he ever made his stance clear to you?" Cindy Clarke asked.
That question hit Eleanor Ward right in the soul.
Eleanor was nearly in tears, "As I told you, I don't know what you're talking about! Are you even understanding what I'm saying?"
Cindy seemed to ignore her words, turning to Ian Morris, "Ian Morris, I'm asking you, are you aware of Eleanor's feelings for you?"
"I…." Ian hesitated. "I...."
He did know, of course he did.
Eleanor's circumstances were indeed tempting to him.
The reason he'd never declared his position was because he hadn't made up his mind yet.
Eleanor was pampered into a willful little princess.
If he was to be with Eleanor, he'd have to tolerate her capricious nature.
After all, the current situation was a case of a strong lady and a weak gentleman.
In many things, he'd have to depend on Eleanor.
