Alexandra ran out of the orphanage and ran towards the center part of the town.
The town had two districts, the inner part where most people lived and most business operated. And the outer part, the outer part was where a lot of buildings were slowly decaying and losing their battle against time.
The streets were crowded with people in a rush, the elders, women and children ran in the same direction, while the men and some young adults ran in the opposite direction, while holding weapons.
Out of breadth, Alexandra arrived at the safehouse and along with the others, they got escorted towards the underground bunker.
Alexandra stood by the door, presumably waiting for Ren.
The guard told her to enter but she refused and no matter how much the young guard urged her she refused to enter, saying that she'll enter once her friend arrived.
"Well if your friend doesn't arrive in the next five minutes, I'll personally drag you inside and shut the door." The guard didn't continue arguing with her as the door had to remain open anyway.
"Please be alright." Alexandra stood there anxiously clutching her dress.

The men arrived in front of the town gate. With bows in hand, some of them climbed the city walls, while others with shields and weapons in hand stood guard and on standby.
"How can my poor town help you guys?" Standing atop the wall, The mayor, Arnold shouted.
Wearing silver armour, while holding a sword, Arnold stood imposingly with his long hair fluttering in the wind.
Arnold was a tall muscleman with developed muscles all over his body, he grew up in this town and worked his way to be coming the chief, so it was special to him.
Outside the walls and infront of the forest stood about a hundred figures clad in black robes. All of them had their faces covered with plan white mask.
In front of the hundred or so figures stood ten other figures with distinct red masks.
"We come here in peace... well not really.I propose we play a game!" A figured wearing a red mask said.
"Sorry but we're not interested you evil cultivators!" Arnold shouted.
"It was rhetorical! You see, we are frome the dark cloud sect. Me and my companions were tasked with training the new recruits and their current mission is to besiege your little town!" The figure in the front said.
"Hidden in a few of your houses is a token that I personally left for them to retrieve."
"Now the game is simple, they have to break through your defences and retrieve the tokens while your jobs is to try and prevent them."
"And as for the rules. You with the silver armor, your cultivation is the Core formation, your not allowed to participate. Anyone with a cultivation higher than core formation isn't allowed."
"Only your men and my men will play."
"That goes for your hiding friends in the Core formation as well!" The figure monologued.
Arnold was surprised, the other party could not only see through him but he also saw through the others, he must be an expert.
What made Arnold uneasy was that he couldn't see the other parties strength.
"And what if we don't play along?" Arnold didn't want to sit back and watch his men die just for some petty games.
"Well, if you chose to fight then me and my companions will have to accompany you and if your men decide to not defend we'll just slaughter them, along with those that are hidden in the inner part. You have three minutes to decide." The figure folded his arms and stood still.
Arnold was in a delimma as both the rock and the hard place weren't easy option.
Arnold got down from the wall and approached two figures who were wearing green and brown cloaks.
"I'm sorry but you guys seem to have visited in the worse possible time." Arnold bowed his head a bit.
"It couldn't be helped so there's no need to apologies." Wearing a green cloak, a middle age man said as he removed the cloak.
"Indeed, the question now is, what do you plan to do?" the other figure removed his cloak. they were both middle aged man and they both appeared to have gone through a lot.
"I cannot in good conscious ask you to fight for us. Instead I ask of you to take some people with you while we buy you some time!." Although Arnold wanted to ask for their help but he ultimately decided against it.
"Nonsense, how can we leave you in your time of need. The Montagues will offer our helping hand." The man in green said.
"How can our Capulet family stand by and be outdone by the Montagues, We'll help as well." The man in brown said.
"Thank you, we're in your debt. but can we beat them" Arnold bowed his head even lower and voiced his doubts.
"No need to worry? send one of your fastest man to the bunker and inform our families that it's a code red." The man from the Montague family said.
"Yeah, but tell them not to wear any of our emblems as this is suppose to be a secret mission." The man from the Capulet family added.
With that, a man was sent speeding over the speed limit towards the north.

Ren brought Joan towards the kitchen, it took a lot of effort as she was heavily and he didn't have any strength. Ren poured some water on her to wake her up.
"Where am I? You what are you... ?" Joan woke up in the wheelbarrow confused and uncomfortable, it took a while for her to come back to her senses.
"Joan, do you know that I hate you?"
"I don't care if you hate me, your nothing to me." Joan barked in anger. She then realised that she was also tied up, "You, why do you have me tied up? Quickly untie me and get me out of here!."
"Now why would I do that?" Standing in front of her Ren looked at her as if she were an idiot.
"Let me g-"
*Bang*
Joan tried to scream but Ren hit her on the face with the water bucket.
"You bastar-"
*Bang*
Joan tried to scream but was hit again. The bucket was made of wood and Ren wasn't holding back, plus neither of them were cultivaters yet, so it hurt a lot.
"Don't you know that boys can't hit girls!" Joan quickly screamed as she didn't want to be hit before she could speak.
"Can't? Can't is a pretty strong word, shouldn't is the right one, I shouldn't hit girls." Ren said as brought a chair and helped Joan sit on it.
She tried to struggle and squirm but after Ren hit her a few times she stopped entirely.
"Tell me Joan, do you know what I plan to do to you?" Ren asked as he walked away and brought over another chair.
*Bang*
Ren hit Joan with the bucket when she didn't respond. The shape of the bucket was starting to appear on her face, leaving a red imprint.
"Answer me or I'll hit you even harder, do you know what I plan to do to you?" Ren asked, he had on an annoyed expression.
The tears Joan was holding back started to flow down her cheeks. She shook her head, signalling her response.
"Well then, I'll tell you. I plan to torture you and after I've had my fill, I'll kill you. Tell me what do you think of that!" Ren said as he held out a sharp kitchen knife and placed it on her thigh.
Joan eyes widen when she heard his words.
"Now I want you to beg for your life, I want you to beg until your throat feels like sand paper!" Ren ever so slightly added pressure to the knife.
"I want to see th-"
"Where is that good for nothin-"
Just then, the kitchen door got flung open and one of the twins that usually bullied Ren, entered.
'Enemies meet on a narrow road...huh' Ren muttered when he saw the boy. He clenched the knife even harder, his expression morphed as he got up.
"Ren is trying to kill me. Quickly grab him and untie me!" Joan screamed as soon as she saw him.
The still confused boy instinctively pounced at Ren.
They may have been stronger then him now but he had his previous life's memories so he was far more experienced.
Ren waited for the opportunity and kicked the chair at the boys legs, the boy couldn't react in time and tripped on the chair.
The boy hit the floor and began to slide, sadly he landed in front of Ren's feet and before he knew it, he felt a stinging pain coming from his should.
"Ahhhh" The boy screamed out in pain. His voice was filled with agony.
Ren pulled the kitchen knife out of the boy's shoulder and plunged it into his other shoulder.
Stab wounds began to appear all over the boy's body, as Ran began to repitedly stab the boy. Blood flew up and landed all over the kitchen
In the process, Ren kept screaming, "You, traitor! This is what you get! This is what you deserve you traitor!" Ren's voice bounced all over the kitchen.
At this point, The boy was long since dead but Ren kept on stabbing.
Gradually Ren began to calm down, he got up and fixed his hair. Covered in blood, he turned around with knife in hand and asked.
"Where were we?"
