None of the mecha warriors actually showed up to inform Scarlet about Esong's return and public sighting. It was Tion that rushed into the dining room where she and Adler were sharing a meal and he told her about the good news.
Just like Adler, he expected her to lose her mind from all the excitement but rather she remained as cool as a cucumber. In her hands was one of the babies, awake and well behaved as she didn't bother her mother.
"Thank you duke T, I guess I should put a plate out for him or something." she said slowly.
Tion looked at Adler. His eyes seemed to be saying, help me out here because I am confused. What am I missing?
Adler had no answers and he shrugged. He was happy to hear that she was at least planning to feed her husband.
He looked at his bracelet terminal and and smiled. "He is here, the general is in the palace right now. He is down in the lobby."
