SARAH'S POV;
I was listening to his lame speech when he said, 'So it's time to call on the stage the girl who is going to be my wife."
All at once the lights went off and spot light stopped on me. I look around and saw everyone was looking at me. What the hell is happening? My uncle took my hand in his and said in ear, "I am sorry Sarah." Why is he saying sorry? All at once he start pulling me towards the stage. "Uncle, what is going on here?"
In the next moment uncle placed my hand in that man's hand. He tried to pull me upstairs on stage but I pushed him and ran inside the hallway. I don't know what is going on? I stopped outside a room. I heard my uncle's voice from behind, "Sara, Wait." I walked inside the room and he entered as well. He was not alone. That guy was with him.
I tyurned to my uncle and asked, 'Care to explain, what just happened out there?" My uncle placed his hands at my shoulders, "I am under his debts. I am unable to pay so in returns of debts I offered him you because he is in love with you."
I looked at that man. "He? This man loves me? He insulted me five minutes ago. He has no respect for me and you are saying he loves me?"
"That was not insult that was truth." He said with same sotic expressions. I look at my uncle and said holding his hand, "Please uncle, take me back to my home. I don't want to be a part of this. I want to go."
He took his hand out of mine, "Accept your destiny Sarah. You owe me for giving you a shelter for so many years." My colors drained from my face. So he kept me with him because he wanted to use me in return of his favor. "You.. You asked my father to take me with you. I never told you that I wanted to come to your home."
He looks away, "You have no way out now Sarah, I did so much for you. Please, he loves you." That man moved his hand ahead for me to hold it. I look at my uncle's pleading eyes and took that man's hand and walked out of the room with him. He kissed at my hand whispers, "Don't forget to smile." It didn't affect me a bit. I went outside with and coming outside everyone starts clapping.
We walk on the stage and the maid gave us the rings, "Sorry for delay guys, My fiance is a little emotional." He looked at me and found me serious and pinched at my arm. "Oww", He smiled and I can't do anything but smile back but right now I want to slap him. We exchange the rings. I was looking at the diamond ring in my finger when he suddenly pulled me to him and kissed at my cheek.
I glared at him and in return he just winked at me. I know there's much more to know. I want to know what makes my uncle so helpless? But by fighting at the spot won't be good for anyone.
The dinner went by nicely and now I am on the way back to my uncle's home with him. I was looking outside the window in silence. As we stopped in front of the house I went off and went inside I took my coat off and ran inside the room. I changed into something decent and came back outside.
"Speak up, I need answers." I said with all the anger inside me. He shrug his shoulders, "What answers?" I roll my eyes and sat on the couch holding a coke in my hands. "You know I am not that stupid that much you think. Why did you give up on me so easily?"
He looked down and struggling for the answers and I opened my diet coke cane and took a sip.
"He is a mob boss"

Diest coke spit out of my mouth. I was looking at him with my eues wide open, "What did you say?" He sighed and nodded, "He is a mob boss. He saw you with me at met gala and fell in love with you. Three months ago when I told him that I am unable to pay him back then he offered me to marry you with him and I agreed."
I was feeling dizzy now. He has been after me from three years. My hands were shaking thinking I am engaged to a mob boss. I stood up and went inside my room. I can't marry him. I can't marry a criminal. I start packing my stuff and decided that I will leave this place early in the morning.
The whole night went by restlessly. I knew I will not be able to sleep so I packed my stuff. Nearly at six o clock in the morning I sneaked out of the house with my bags and hired a cab to reach airport. In twenty minutes I was at airport. I did my check in and went in the plane. I was looking outside of the window. My life changed so much in a blink of an eye.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep while looking outside.
( AFTER FEW HOURS)
I reached Los Vegas. I step out of the plane and after checking out I hired the first cab in the row. I checked my wallet and I don't have much money. "Can you take me to the cheapest hotel nearby?" The taxi driver nodded and starts driving.
In ten minutes I was outside of a hotel. I paid the taxi and went in with my luggage. I asked for a room at reception and luckily I got one easily in good price. I went in the room and first thing that I decided to do was take a bath. I didn't switch on the lights of the room and went straight in the washroom.
( After Bath)
I wore my bathrobe and walk out of the washroom. I look outside from the window. "This city is really big. I hope I can start a new life here."
"Your new life started is already started."
My eyes widen at sudden voice and I turned out and saw a figure sitting on the couch. I ran to switch on the lights and when the lights went on my mouth left open looking at the person in front of me.
"You? How did you get inside?"
"You are asking me?" He said with a playful smile. Yeah, he can be anywhere but how did he find me?
