Miguel saw his mother off to her room and decided to leave her once she was comfortable but Julia didn't want him to go and gestured him to take a seat opposite her while she sat on her huge bed.
"Mother, what's it?" Miguel asked, his voice etched with worry as he saw tears running down his mother's eyes.
"Miguel, what is happening between you and Marco?" Julia asked with a weary voice, tears gushing out of her eyes as she held her son's hands, gazing straight into his eyes, demanding answers.
Miguel knew Camilla's words must have gone through his mother's head but he didn't expect her to tear up. He held her hands firmly assuring her that everything was okay between them but his mother didn't seem convinced.
"It's like I'm the only one in the house who doesn't know about you and your brother's dispute just because of Cecilia. You both were on good terms until she came." Julia said, wiping the tears off her face with the back of her palm.
