Suddenly, the door creaked open, and King Otto entered the room.
"Ah, so you've discovered Queen Leia's portrait at last," remarked King Otto, his tone calm yet authoritative.
Emma turned abruptly, surprised. "Your Majesty, I… I didn't intend to invade your privacy," she faltered, lowering her head and moving to conceal the painting once more.
"Leave it uncovered," King Otto said, stopping her. "I wanted to talk to you about Leia."
Emma paused, her hands still on the cloth. "Of course, Your Majesty."
"Clayton," he corrected gently.
"Yes?" Emma replied, slightly confused.
"Call me Clayton," he repeated with a small, tired smile.
"Alright, Your High, no, ugh… Clayton," Emma said, stumbling slightly over the change.
"Emma, before we continue, I want to apologize to you and your friend, Cole Amstrong, for what happened in Ravendale," Clayton said casually, as if he hadn't nearly had her and Cole executed.
