Cole struggled to keep his balance as he was shoved along the cobblestone street.
"What's this about?"
"You'll find out soon enough,"
"What did I do wrong? Don't act like this! I'll call my lawyer!" Cole protested, struggling against the soldiers' grip.
"No lawyer will be able to defend you, Cole Amstrong!" the head soldier barked, holding up an arrest warrant bearing Cole Armstrong's name.
"Don't worry, your body and severed head will be sent to your family so you can have a proper burial," the head soldier sneered.
"No, no! Don't act recklessly! You don't know who I am! I'm from a distinguished family!" Cole protested, panic rising in his voice.
"You're the one who doesn't know who you're up against. Your enemy is King Clayton Otto Anderson of Dominic Grant Kingdom!" the soldier retorted, his voice dripping with disdain.
Cole's heart sank.
