Luna sniffed as she gradually felt calm and nodded at Arlott.
"Arlott, I only want Mom. You can destroy my Dad and his family. Humph, he doesn't care about me, so I also don't care."
"Mom is all I want and need."
"Mom," Luna turned to Zinnia and smiled. "That's fine with you, right? You also don't want them to exist. They are binding us down."
Zinnia was shocked.
"What are you talking about? Y-You kids…we don't have the power to destroy them," Zinnia sighed.
"You don't know anything, Mom," Luna smirked and side-hugged her, rubbing her face on her plump chest. "Arlott is super powerful. You might think I am joking, but he can easily destroy Dad and his family."
Luna looked at her mother's eyes and grinned, "Don't worry, we'll be fine from now on."
"Arlott, why don't you give Mom your special massage to reduce her stress?"
Iris almost choked on the soup and looked at Luna, 'This girl…But the idea is good, hehe.'
"Cough…" Arlott wryly smiled. "Luna, I'll explain further."
Zinnia focused on Arlott, confused and curious both but also doubtful.
"Do you believe in past lives?" Arlott asked with a faint smile.
"I believe, but we don't have such occurrences," Zinnia nodded. "We have magic, so getting recollections of past lives is not impossible."
"I have recollections of my past life," Arlott said, "And I also have powers from my past life."
"W-what?"
"It's true, Mom!"
Iris also nodded at her.
"So, what powers do you have?" Zinnia narrowed her eyes and asked, still doubtful yet curious because she didn't entirely dismiss this.
"I have powers different from what you know," Arlott chuckled and pointed his finger at Zinnia, "Sleep."
In the next second, Zinnia felt a terrible and powerful pressure on her that she directly felt, affecting an ethereal thing such as her soul.
'Illusion magic? But that affects my mind…w-why am I feeling t-this way…'
Her thoughts soon turned blank, and her eyes turned heavy before she fell to the side of Luna, who put her head on her lap.
"She will wake up in five seconds," Arlott said with a smile. "I just put a gentle pressure on her soul, enough to make her fall asleep for five seconds."
Indeed. After five seconds, her eyes gradually opened, and she saw Luna's face.
"I'm sure you still remember what I said before you fell asleep," Arlott said with a light chuckle.
Zinnia unhurriedly stood up and looked at Arlott's ruby eyes that were as calm as a still sea but spread with the power of a boundless ocean.
"Sleep…" Zinnia mumbled. "You said sleep, and I fell asleep. How?"
"I am an Elite-class mage, and I fell asleep instantly," Zinnia somberly said, "This is too lethal. What kind of magic is that?"
Arlott smiled.
"A power that I cultivated without myself knowing, and it awakened at the end of my first life. What I used was not Arcane-related."
"It was also not Genome related."
Zinnia nodded, "I didn't feel any presence of Mana or Vitalis."
"Yep," Arlott chuckled, "Because this power is from a third path that is not prominent in this world."
"Soul Path."
"Soul path?" Zinnia's eyes widened. "There's one more path, and it's soul?"
"If my soul is stronger than someone and I have the means to use my soul force, which I have, then their Arcane and Genome powers won't matter."
Arlott unhurriedly said with a carefree expression, "If I want to finish them, I can."
"So, Miss Zinnia. I take it that you want to get rid of this trouble, right?"
Zinnia was dazed. She couldn't believe that this handsome young man in front of her had such powers. Naturally, she couldn't help BUT believe all this because she just witnessed it firsthand!
"This is not a dream, right?" Zinnia mumbled one last time in disbelief before she sighed.
Smiling at Arlott, she said, "A huge pressure and chains binding me would fall off once I believe that you can really erase Raymon and all the Crowfers."
"Should I believe you?" Zinnia asked.
"You should," Arlott laughed. "And for starter, how about you change your residence?"
"What do you mean?" Zinnia was confused.
"You and Luna should come to a secret house that is under my house. Deleting Raymon and Crowfers won't be a matter of a night because I still need to prepare, and it would be bad if something untoward happened to Luna and you."
"You shouldn't trust these big families and their decision-making. They still have the power to do such things, and nobody would know."
Zinnia sighed. "You are right. None of the ancient hundred families operate alone anymore. They all have ties to each other stronger than in the past."
"Yep, so let's help you pack up after eating and move to my house. I also can get stronger quickly in all three paths and know how to make others stronger quickly."
"You are strong, so if you become a bit stronger, you can join me in their eradication," Arlott raised a juice glass with a smile and gulped it down.
"That's amazing, and I would be thankful if you helped us with that, but how did you know about the situation?" Zinnia curiously asked.
"That..." Arlott coughed and awkwardly smiled, "I can kinda read some memories."
"What?!" Zinnia was dumbfounded.
"It's fine, Mom."
Luna giggled and caressed her back. "It's a small price compared to the freedom we are getting."
Zinnia didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but she couldn't help but feel relief when she felt that they could really get away from Raymon and his family while also destroying them.
Zinnia knew what dark works Crowfers did, but she was helpless to prevent them or tell authorities about them due to the difference in power.
Arlott looked at dazed Zinnia and clapped twice, "Alright, let's quickly finish eating. I have to drop three of you at the secret house with resources and teach you three an Arcane Art before leaving for an important work."
