Next day 8pm
In Zayn's car, I sat on his lap while he was seated in the driver's seat. Since the previous night Zayn marked me, he has been glued to me, and I wouldn't say I'm not enjoying all of this. It feels like our love for each other skyrocketed and we can't get enough of each other.
"Do you want me to go with you?" He whispers in my ear as we were parked not too far from Josh's house.
"Nah I'll be fine" I replied, kissing him on his cheek.
"If he tries anything aside from talking, just yell, Zayn is so hot! I'll be able to hear you from here" Trying to hold back my laughter, I shake my head.
"Sure Sir" And before he could say anything else I'm out of the car but not before Zayn could smack my butt.
Composing myself I took a good number of steps leading to Josh's house. I glance back at Zayn giving him a curt nod, he smiles making finger hearts.
This should be easy, with his reaction I'll know what he knows. Pressing on the door bell button the door opened almost immediately.
Josh was dressed in a yellow hoodie. The smirk on his face told me he knows something.
"Well look who we have here" He says, opening the door wider "Are you coming in? " He asks eyeing me up and down, I don't bother replying I just walk into his home.
As soon as I entered the living room, I started talking. "You know why I'm here"
"Do I?" Josh questions, sitting on the couch, crossing one leg over the other. I sigh and turn around facing him.
"I could report you to the police for spying on me" Josh snorts.
"Come on now shawty you know telling the cops would get you and your little boyfriend in trouble"
"No it won't because it has no reason to-"
"It would when I tell them one of your boys is an animal, didn't know were fond of pets, wild pets" He snaps standing up and reduces the distance between us.
"What the hell are you talking about? Are you still on drugs? Is that why you haven't been in school?" I ask crossing my arms, messing with him and making him believe he isn't making any sense is the right thing to do.
"What?" He whispers. My gaze slowly drifted to the coffee table and lo and behold there was a white packet and a little powdery substance on the table.
"You must have been seeing things, maybe you should try quitting, then you'll stop hallucinating" He watches me with widened eyes as I walk to the door and out of his house, not forgetting to slam the door.
Josh
"You see they're trying to make you think you don't know what you saw." The strange dude that has been visiting me since the day I saw the kind of things Diana spends her time with says walking out of the hallway into the living room. He has refused to tell me how he knows about what I know and why he easily believes me.
"Why did you hide when she came?" I ask, eyeing him up and down.
"Hide?" He scoffs. "I wasn't hiding, just didn't want my plan to be ruined" he dusts his shoulder " Now what you saw are called werewolves"
Detective Corner pulled the gun from his belt as he ducked and made sure be was properly hidden.
Laura did that same hoping that something would come out, that those werewolves would decide to hunt or kill anyone that night.
The woods were surrounded with cops, guns, snipers from different angles with all their bullets bathed in wolf's bane.
Cole was blindfolded as he tried to figure out where Killian stood, but it wasn't going too well because Jake, Noah, Justin and Olivia including Killian were all surrounding him, but he had to find just Killian.
"You gotta concentrate and fix your mind together" Killian says, switching places with Justin so Cole wouldn't use his voice to find him.
And just as he expected Cole abruptly turns to Justin's current direction. With a smirk across his face he lounged at Justin and right on time Justin was able to kick him back sending flying back to the circle.
Cole grunts in pain from the unexpected attack. "You have to be smarter than that Cole" His blindfolded gaze shifts to Killian when he speaks. "Use your insane sense of smell, of course you're getting more than one scent but concentrate on the one you want to find, your sense of smell shouldn't be all over the place" Killian calmly says helping Cole up.
"Now, try again" Killian states stepping to where Olivia stood and she went to his previous position.
"So I just gotta find the scent of fish to find you?" Everyone snorts, including Killian.
"You should clean your mustache often, maybe that's where the fish smell is coming from" Killian fires back, switching positions with Noah.
With furrowed brows Cole tried to block away every other scent in the room, trying to concentrate just on one scent, Killian's scent.
Raising his head and his gaze landed at Noah, Noah raised a brow watching as Cole this time walked towards him. Just as Noah was about to defend himself from Cole, he takes a literal U-turn and walks right in front of Killian.
"There's the fish smell," Killian smiled, patting his shoulder. His weeks of training Cole since he arrived is finally paying off.
"I see you've been listening to me during our previous classes". Killian states earning a scoff from Cole.
"Justin, why'd you kick me that hard!" Cole yells remembering how Justin attacked him.
"Hey you were coming at me first" Justin defends with his hands raised in the air.
"Are Zayn and Diana back?" Benjamin asks, walking into the large sitting room. His eyes find Olivia and he smiles at her walking to her and places his arm on her waist pulling her closer.
"Nope," Lucas comments, walking into the house. He's been out the door enjoying the fresh air of the night.
"Hey look, If you say stuff like that about Lucas I won't let it slide" Charlie's voice was heard as she followed Kate as they walked down the stairs.
"What are you gonna do? You're just a Siberian husky" Kate scowls rolling her eyes. Charlie stared at the back of Kate's head as they were finally in the sitting room.
"I'll show you what this Siberian husky can do" Charlie rasps, her eyes turning blue and her fangs getting visible, just when she was about to attack Kate from the back Lucas runs to her and grabs her.
"Let me go! She needs to be put to her place" Charlie yells trying to escape Lucas's grip.
"What did you say to her?" Jake quietly asks his mate softly grabbing her arm.
"She said that Lucas was retarded"
"I didn't say he was retarded, I said he is retarded is wasn't past tense" Jake pulls Kate towards him glaring at her as Lucas just scoffs.
"Why would you say stuff like that, and to Charlie" Jake scowls, tightening his grip on Kate.
"JakeJake, you're getting angry, why don't you follow me outside, getting angry at your mate isn't a pretty sight" Killian says pulling Jake with him as his eyes never stopped burning into Kate till they were outside.
"Look Kate" Benjamin starts "I don't know what you're trying to achieve by being a pain in everyone's asses, but I myself will personally kick you out of this pack if you get too overbearing, I won't mind that you're Jake's mate, and I'm sure no one else would mind too.
"I heard picking herbs should help reduce Stress" Killian says.
Jake looks at the blind man "Are you suggesting I go pick herbs?" Jake asks, running his hands through his hair.
"Yea"
"I don't even know the first thing about herbs, what would I possibly be able to pick?" Jake scoffs staring into the night sky, there were no stars present.
"Then let's go together" Before Jake could protest Killian had already started walking away leaving him no choice than to follow.
"You can't kick me out, I'm the Alpha" Kate spits, stepping towards Benjamin .
"Did you say the Alpha?" Olivia asks with a scoff, she needed someone to hold her back because she would soon tear Kate limb for limb.
"I see you've started considering yourself the alpha of this pack Kate" Benjamin says with a smirk.
"What's going on?" Zayn's voice was heard as he and Diana stepped in hand in hand.
Laura's head picked up as she heard the sound of footsteps coming out from the inner part of the woods. She glanced at detective Corner with a nod.
She pulled out her walkie walkie "Strange sounds heard over" She says communicating with the sniper just a distance far from them.
"Why don't you turn, it'll be faster that way" Killian suggests and Laura furrows her brows watching the two men.
"You want me to turn just to pick herbs?" Laura thought about what they meant by turning.
"Do you smell that?" Jake asks, looking around.
"What?"
"There are people here...and wolfsbane" He says, stepping back to get back to the pack house. Laura smirked knowing that she has two of them on sight. Mentioning wolf's bane was enough to tell her that they weren't just normal people.
Aiming her gun at Jake's back she pulled the trigger.
