That was what Martin called it. It was just sheer luck.
Ace wouldn't agree with it though. He was born a few weeks ago. He didn't knew anything about luck.
He would prefer to make logical statements than just base it on luck.
However, Martin had no time for such stressful thinking.
A thick line of mana flew straight into his chest. Martin felt a cooling sensation.
This was it.
He could finally break open his fire rune.
Martin sat crossed legged.
He knew that this was his last chance so he needed to absorb all the energy.
His eyes moved towards the heart that hovered in the middle of the ribs.
Somehow, the ribs had a fiery red glow. Was the hearthstone that strong?
"Let's do this." Martin said to himself.
He activated his mana detection skills and saw that the mana lines were denser than normal.
It was just what he needed.
