Chapter 2 - Chapter Two

The next day, Ginny was walking home from work as usual but this time, she decided to take the route which would lead her to where Albert used to beg. When she reached, she purchased a flower from a girl nearby who was selling them since Albert had many friends. She placed a flower together with the other flowers beside a grey picture of him. Speaking some short lines of prayer, she turned away and made her way back home.

As she walked, however, a bicycle from the other side of the pavement sped past, nearly clipping her. She was shoved aside, and her tote bag fell to the ground, causing the contents to spew everywhere. She sighed loudly and picked her stuff up, making sure to hurry up because she was almost late for something.

When she finally reached home, she quickly took a shower and prepared herself to look presentable. She was told by her boss that there would be an impromptu meeting later that night that she had to be there for. After showering, she headed to her bed. She wanted to lay in bed for the meeting because her boss did not require them to turn on their cameras, and she walked to her tote bag to fetch her phone.

Her hand touched every object in her tote bag, but somehow, she was unable to find her phone. She adjusted the position of the bag and looked into the dark inside, only to find her phone nowhere. Worried, she emptied her tote bag onto her desk, and found that her phone was not among the objects on the desk. Her mind flashed back to what happened earlier, where she had dropped her tote bag onto the ground. That must've been when she dropped her phone as well.

Sighing, she turned on her desktop computer and attended the meeting. Though, throughout the entire few hours that the meeting lasted, her mind was wholly on how her phone was no longer with her.

The stranger bent down and picked up the phone which had no cover on it. That girl seemed to like living dangerously, and she was just the type of girl he got hard for. The stranger wondered how she would sound when she came, or how her expression would look when he pushed a knife into her folds.

She would most probably look divine.

But he did not get a good look at her face. Though that was only a temporary problem. He was resourceful and he knew that with computers, he was as powerful as God himself.

Reaching home, he made a beeline towards the couch, and waited and waited, not bothering to even try and key in passwords he guessed. It was about midnight when the girl's phone lit up with a contact that was named "Sista XO".

He picked up the phone. "Hello?"

"Hello? This is Ginny, the owner of this phone. I dropped it earlier and you must've picked it up."

"Yes, I did," he said. "Shall we meet so I can return the phone to you?"

"Yes, please. Where would be convenient for you?"

"How about Blissfield Park?"

"Sure, about 3pm tomorrow?"

"Alright, see you then."

"See you," Ginny said before she hung up.

Ginny. What a nice name. Ginny. Gina. Vagina. It was truly a nice name. He smiled, thinking about their future and how they would name their kids. Vanessa? Nathan? Such good ideas. Thinking about that, a happy laugh escaped from him as he pictured his kids having sex, then having kids of their own. How splendid.

Turning her phone in his hand around, he tapped on it. The keypad flashed on the screen, asking him to key in the password instead of using Face ID, since it had detected a different visage. Well, no amount of security could get past him. He laughed then stood up, walking over to his wooden table.

And with one swing up, he brought the screen of the phone down hard onto the wooden edge of his table, causing cracks to bloom across it.

It was Saturday and Ginny was at Blissfield Park, waiting for the man who had picked up her phone the previous night. He sounded friendly, and almost familiar but she knew she didn't know him. As she waited in the entrance of the park, she held a spare phone up to see if he would be coming soon. He should call anytime now, and the minutes ticked by.

The phone rang.

She swiped the slider as fast as she could. "Hi! Are you reaching soon?"

"Ginny, I'm so so sorry! But I accidentally dropped your phone and smashed the screen. I left it at a phone repair centre. I've already paid for you, so please go there…"

The man muttered the address and Ginny paused in shock. "Wha-What? You didn't have to! Thank you so much!" There was a nasty scratch on her screen and now she was getting it replaced for free! This was a nice turn of events.

"You're welcome," he said, hanging up.
